How does one ask jesus to come into their life?

I would like to thank all of you who responded to my posting.
I am overwhelmed by the love and support you all blessed me with.
It's by the grace of god that the support i have received; that only christians
could provide. I thank the lord for this website. And i will reference your replys
when ever i am blessed with joy, or, just need for some extra strength to face
the constant testing the world throws my way.

To ask JESUS in your life. First is faith ( which is believing), prayer with good intentions and all praise to Him, and then reading ( which tells us about Him). He will answer if your heart is content.

Faith of the unseen that has a blessing:
JOHN 20:29
Jesus said to him, “Thomas,because you have seen Me, you have believed.
Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Prayer to Him with good intentions and all praise to Him
Romans 8:
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according toHis purpose.
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Reading the Word which tells us about HiM
1 Timothy 4:12-16
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,in faith, in purity.
Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.
Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
