How long will it take for Christians to realize what is going on with this virus in the world and speak up? How long will you be between two opinions?

Why are we so quiet now, and do you sense a type of stillness before a storm, and others don't. We know that He controls everything that comes to pass. It seems to me that the people of this world do not believe That The GOD of "the Bible" really exists, and they think that the storm is blowing over or it does not matter. Their actions, makes me fill uneasy. GOD actions don't , God actions gets my attention. The world is putting all types of blame in every direction I believe, but in the right direction. What do you think? Especially here in America.

Many of us "are" speaking up. What else would you want us to do? D you have some practical examples?

What else would you say other than God sent it for a purpose? Maybe that purpose is to quicken the pace into the digital currency, among others. But we know
already how this ends so it is just bringing us closer to the return of the King.
No blame on any human should be placed, as it is the Father doing what the Father does.
Due 32:29 "......I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: and neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand."

Well, maybe our voices are not loud enough or directed in the right direction.

(Acts17).
6But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some other believers before the city officials, shouting: “These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here, 7and Jason has welcomed them into his house. They are all defying Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another king, one called Jesus.” 8When they heard this, the crowd and the city officials were thrown into turmoil. 9Then they made Jason and the others post bond and let them go.

Maybe we need to go to "Jason" house and get him involved, since he loves the "soap box"! As a whole " the institionalizse church" has billions upon billions of dollars in net worth! Buy some air time! Instead of calling your Congressman or woman, Call "Jason" up! Let's get him involve to stand up as a living sacrifice and team one for the team! And give the world a historical back to GOD listen! That is what leaders are to do, "LEAD" and feed. They stand up for worldly things and programs and worldly people. They stand up for their churches, Now stand up for the Word of GOD!

New International Version

This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.' (Jeremiah 6:16).

We are in the last days ploughboy, people have become God haters, prayers are no longer prayed in our schools, and so our children are not being made aware of God. Throughout the Middle East, Christians are being persecuted and murdered. War is now either in progress or being discussed, Earthquakes are becoming more numerous, many of which are precursors to tsunamis that are devastating vulnerable coastlands and violent storms are creating havoc. Israel is center stage and is surrounded by armies, and is now openly talking of building the third temple. The pestilence is another sign of the end times. The fig trees are putting forth their tender branches. We need to be vigilant and make sure our lamps are primed. The people didn't believe the flood was coming, like the people of today. They don't even believe in God. Bless you

I have never heard of "hail" the size of "basketballs" before.

At least six people have been killed and dozens injured due to severe weather in southern Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana.

On Wednesday and early Thursday, severe thunderstorms, flooding and tornadoes were reported in the region.

Five people were killed in "extremely dangerous" twisters in Oklahoma and Texas and one died in a storm in Louisiana.

Millions of people remain in the path of possible severe weather on Thursday.

Thousands of people are without power as of Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said the "extremely dangerous tornado" that hit the city of Onalaska and other parts of Polk and San Jacinto counties in Texas formed around 18:00 local time (23:00 GMT).

Onalaska is some 90 miles (144km) north of the city of Houston.

The tornado killed three and injured up to 30, local media report, and caused significant damage to homes and businesses and other infrastructure.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the state's emergency management agencies are working with local officials to provide assistance.

A "large and dangerous" tornado also struck Marshall County in southern Oklahoma at around 16:30, according to the NWS.

The twister killed two people.

The county's emergency management chief Robert Chaney told CBS News one person's body was found a quarter-mile (0.4km) away from a factory near the town of Madill. Employees were leaving just as the twister hit, he said.

Other tornadoes were also reported throughout the evening in the region, with storms dropping golf and baseball sized hail.

In Louisiana, one woman was killed in Rapides Parish in a severe storm, according to local authorities.

The severe weather in the region damaged homes, uprooted trees and downed power lines.

In DeSoto Parish, one man reportedly drowned after accidentally falling into floodwaters. Officials had to rescue others in their homes.

DeSoto Parish Sheriff Jayson Richardson told the Shreveport Times there was "extreme flooding" in the city of Mansfield.

"Water like I've not seen in many, many years, if ever," he said. "I think we had about 20 or so homes that people were flooded in."

Tornadoes were also reported in Mississippi.

The NWS forecast for Thursday says a storm system that could cause "widespread regions of heavy rains, flash flooding and severe thunderstorms" is moving across the south-eastern part of the country.

Parts of the South are under tornado warnings as of Thursday morning.

Earlier this month, tornados and flooding killed 26 people in the same region.

As many as 60 tornadoes ripped through Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi on 12 April, while severe storms also hit parts of Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas.
It is some strange things going on.

I like that; "The fig trees are putting forth their tender branches" that would be a nice " thread" to post. That could produce a lot of flavor, fully season. Especially now.

Worth a thought Ploughboy, I'll pray about it. Bless you

It took me by surprise with the shelter in place thing for a virus. I missed one Sunday of church only.

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, Love, and a sound mind.

Keep these in memory and go about your day. Let the "world" worry about the Corona 19 virus.

The gospel or good news of Jesus Christ is needed so much now as people are hurting and confused as the whole creation is groaning. What a wonderful time to present to people the joy and peace only found in our Lord.

Hi Leanne, Wonderful time to share the gospel, in a lock down? bless you

It depends quite a bit on how your the way you normally make connections with people. For people who have strong networks on social media, telephone or are working in essential services, there's quite a lot happening. People outside the church are certainly thinking about life and death now.

But for those of us who are dependent on seeing people face-to-face and now in lockdown, it's frustrating.

My friends who are working among muslims in the uk are saying that they are seeing a softening of attitude towards the gospel.

Praise God for the softening of the hearts of the Muslims, I think that relates to the Jews as well, Hekuran, as to my post, it was tongue in cheek. Bless you.:innocent:

Ah! you've got to bear in mind that I have no sense of humour. Never really got to grips with irony, idiom, whimsy, allusion or texture either.

Off topic for a moment, I've been speed dating. She asked, 'have you any pets?'
'One goldfish,' I said.
'Any hobbies?'
'He seems to like swimming'

I'm trying to figure out if the person in your off topic conversation is a man or a woman Hekuran?

Some Research polls, that i have read in the past, concerning Church go'er, and their leaders, came to a conclusion that the majority do not understand what the "Gospel of Jesus Christ" is or can explain it. And by questioning their leaders or pastors about it, The leaders had to admit, all of these years, they really did not understand what the gospel of Jesus was all about and how to present it properly, but they only had a " gospel of Jesus Christ according to themselves and not according to Jesus Christ [the Word of God] in their presentation. And i have found out, through out the years, when you tell christians and try to explain this, they grow "horns"! And when you would present the "gospel of Jesus Christ" as it is supposed to be presented and when some christians hear your presentation, it becomes like a strange language, a unknown tongue to their ears, But the "elect' of God" who has not come forth yet or about to come to birth understands the language! You would hear his birthing call "What Must I Do, To Become Saved From The Wrath That Is To Come"! I wish i had the time, to tell you of some great testimonies, that i have encounter, Those who have cried out in the middle of the night in fear of the wrath that is to come after hearing the "Full Gospel of Jesus Christ", these people called on His name, and in that midnight hour! LOL, He reach down, like He reach down and grab "Peter's Hand" when Peter called out "Lord" save me!

I feel good telling this story, yes sir! I feel real good about now! yes sir. yes sir i feel good!. yes Lord, thank you Jesus! o the sweetness of God. I can feel the precious oil pouring upon me heart.

The Bible is written for "Christians" Born From Above" and If they do not belong to this group they are not your Brothers and Sisters in Christ. They have no power to become the children of God or are they subjects of His Kingdom, neither are they your true neighbors. If christian women do not obey their husbands they gives place for the Devil! period!

Do Not Grieve the Spirit
25Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. 26“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27nor give [g]place to the devil. 28Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. 29Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary [h]edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, https://biblehub.com/nkjv/ephesians/4.htm#footnotesclamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

I thank Him that even now speaking via phone to once hostile family members they are questioning and more open to God. God has also provided opportunities for me to shop for the elderly in my community who could not leave their houses. Our church services are now on the internet and many people are zooming in. God is not limited by the fires that wiped out many communities near me , the floods that followed and now COVID19.
