(Romans 2)
a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of the immature, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth, 21you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one should not steal, do you steal? 22You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

The sign of Spiritual Maturity is develop upon the keen sense of right and wrong. "Missing the MarK". And in who's Light is the "determination" and the "counsel"?

That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. Now if we judged ourselves properly, we would not come under judgment. But when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world.…

we must always remember the sins of omission is a sin like the sins of comissions, and both has it's consequences which are not desirable by no means.

New International Version
But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.

"Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Each one must examine himsel fbefore he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.…"

International Standard Version
Keep examining yourselves to see whether you are continuing in the faith. Test yourselves! You know, don't you, that Jesus the Messiah lives in you? Could it be that you are failing the test?

For drifting is easy when you sail in a great Sea and Strong winds blows in all kinds of directions.

I am not a hypocrite. I do judge myself but am careful not to judge others unless I am judged. Even internally, I have no inner perceptions of people because I do not know how they got to where they are and maybe that makes me defensive when people assume I am a certain way without asking me if I am and why. We have all had bad things happen to us at a young age, haven't we? We have all faced things that we feel are pretty bad that gave us all the same feelings at one time or another. There are certain feelings I have never felt though. Like the loss of a child, or the loss of my spouse. Some people have experienced this and if they are going through it, who would I be to judge them for ANYTHING? Even if they were rude, or impatient, I could not judge them! They are going through something I cannot even fathom and what they deserve is kindness and space to feel however they are feeling without having to tell everyone why they are being how they are. No one gives each other the benefit of the doubt anymore, and everyone is so quick to take offense and take everything personal. Learning to let things roll off your back and finding inner compassion to love a hateful person anyways JUST BECAUSE could be the best lesson any of us could learn to do this year. If I ever come off rude or hateful with any of you I am very sorry. It is not personal in any way. I do get excited when I talk about Jesus, but I also love each of you very much. Please remember that.

Phil 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling .

Paul instructs to work our our salvation with fear and trembling.

As such, judging ourselves daily is very healthy.
