how to enrich my christian life?

Hello everyone,
ia m new. I am struggling with having a firm, regualar, solid prayer life. How can i find a way to some how enrich my life with Jesus. i am rushing around all the time.
I started a prayer group at home and now that has stopped for more than 5 weeks. it feels like i have lost my dedcation to Jesus over the past 5 weeks. I need support and prayers to get back on track.
I remember enjoying a close relationship with the Lord and the feeling the direction of the holy spirit and now i have lost it.

please help me to renew my love for the Lord

Hi Bless,

The situation you describe is not new, I could even say it is common to all of us. Keeping focussed on Him.

We have 'family time', we have 'work time', we have 'social time'........there may be other 'periods of time' which we enjoy, and allow. We are so busy that 'God time', is left at the back for any time that remainsleft over. Sometimes that is how it seems to be with me very often.

God spoke to me recently from the scripture They made me the keeper of the vineyards, .......but my own vineyard I have not kept.
Song of Solomon 1 : 6

I posted an article on 'talkjesus' about the subject only recently. (cannot recall just where I made the thread)

But we have to take ourselves in hand, make the time, and press ahead with our service for Jesus.

how dangerous is that. To not keep your own vineyard. To be open to the attack fo the devil. He can uproot us if we dont draw from The Vine.

O! God, Help me to draw from thee. As the Deer panteth for the waters does my soul pant for thee Lord. You alone are my strength my shield to you alone may my spirit yield. Father please help us to have the God time and help us to be disciplined and we may run the race. Amen

Sometimes God uses other people to comfort us as well, because were two or three are gathered together in his name.. he is in thier midst. Find someone to fellowship with and talk about the things of God with them, it will help. And remain in prayer even if your group is not with you anymore. Does a daughter always sit on fathers knee? lol that is just some humor, thaught you might need some. God is with you, so don't worry he will take you back on his knee soon.There is a mountain top with God, but there is also a valley, this is where we learn patients and faith, and all his children go through this...:star:

Thank you for all your support.
I will take time and pray for you Chad, that you are able to have an important time for God.

I enjoy getting up in the morning to pray. I use the internet to read the word of god and pray. my pray is picture oriented and see pictures of Jesus doing miracles to strenghten my faith.

Please pray that i will get disciplined and keep my prayer time. I would ideally like to get up at 5.30, pray for half-an-hour and continue this with excerise and then start my chores at 6.30am. I also want to rearrange my room to keep a special place for prayer and worship and keep this place dedicated.

The bible clearly says that we have to pray for all the saints and God will be happy that we pray for each other to keep our tiem with God our Father and CEO.

We need to defeat the enemy and put on the whole armour of God.
i am on night shift today, but i will try and keep the 5.30 prayer time.
