How to intercede??

Dear Brothers and Sisters in our Lord Christ Jesus. I hope I've chosen the correct place to post this and ask for advice.

My parents invited me and my husband to a church service. They are completely into the ocult and they do not believe in Jesus that He physicaly died on the cross for us to save us from our sins, they do not believe that He acctually dwelt the earth 2000 years ago and was raised from the dead and is now siting on the right hand of our Father God and is fully alive in us.

Now, I know we have nothing to be affraid of, but I was wondering. If servants of satan can come into our churches and intercede for the devil to distract and cause backsliding. We can also go to my parents church (the ocult religion) and intercede for our Lord Jesus Christ in His Almighty Name. For every knee shall bow and every tongue shall proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord and King. So I believe every evil spirit with his fat lie that causes those poor people to be blind all their lives and deprive them from the truth MUST either bow and worship Chirst our King or flee.

Now, here's where I need your help. How do you intercede? I do know that you put on the armor of God and plead the blood of Jesus before going into battle, but how do you intercede while the service is on?

I would really like your help and advice and I pray to the Holy Spirit to decide if we are to attend this service or not. I also thank our Lord Jesus Christ for opening up our eyes to the truth and that He will use us all mightaly in the power of His hands to open up the eyes of others so they too can see. Amen

Hi Sheep!
What kind of church is it that they want you to go to that denies Jesus? Why do they want you to attend their church, when they know you're Christians?

My first thought would be that you not go to that church because we are not to partake of evil things. But that's just a quick thought. My longer thought is that God is Sovereign and all-powerful and Lord of all, and He can certainly take bad things and make good come out of them.
I think of the battle Elijah had against the 400 priests of Baal, to see who was the real power. If the Lord puts on your heart to go into the church to do spiritual battle, He will be strong for you. But He can also do mighty works through you without you're needing to be in that church.

So I would lean on Him and let Him lead you to do what He wills.We must always be in His will and not make decisions outside of it.

As to, "how do I intercede while the service is on", don't worry about that, the Holy Spirit will empower you to do what you need to do, just like Moses worried that he was not a good enough speaker to be able to do what God was asking him to do, but God equipped him to do it..

Other than that, perhaps some of the more mature in Christ on here can give a better answer. You're in my prayers about this! God bless all your endeavors and send His all-encompassing grace and love upon you, in Jesus name!

I can see you have my back 24/7 - thank you, you're a real brother to me in this life

Although my parents hurt me allot with cruel sayings and remarks of me being a christian, I still love them very much but the hurt is all the worse for its my mother, we use to be very close. I do mis the days when all was ok and my parents loved me, but those days I was very unhappy, and unhappy for the most of my life for they treated me like an inmate and had no respect towards me, I thought it is how it should be all my life, that it's normal. And Yes, their love came at a very expensive price and the day I met Jesus, Oh how I found love undying and unconditional - oh I never experienced love like the love Jesus gives, and can soak in it for hours at end and I can have it any time of day any moment and no matter for how long - and its FREE!!!

My parents are in the grip of satan who is dicuised in sheeps clothing. They are deep into a religion called The Old Apostolic Church. You will find this church all over the world. You are welcome to look it up on google. But be aware that everything look fine from the eye, and a person will not expect anything, its like a beautifull decorated cake, but when you cut it open, there's only worms.

It really brakes my heart in a million pieces when they live the way they live and that they do not know there is so much more, my step father, according to me has no respect for God - it tears my heart out, its my Abba Father! And its all about themselves and all about money. They do believe in God, but only God. They are stuck under the law, having Priests that tells you what God wants for your life and how you should run it. They also believe that works will get you into heaven, but heaven is in their head and not above (rather don't ask), and to make everything more confusing, they read the KJV but they take what they read in there and turn it into another meaning. Like for instance the ark is actually your body and whatnot.

I know these meanings very well for I grew up in that religion and at the age of 26 I was a top dog there, I was drawing a few people to that church and was willing to die for my religion and for God. But I got too hungry for them to handle me, I started asking allot of questions and at that moment, the Lord Jesus sent me Dewald (who is now my husband) into my life to ignite the little fire that was aleady burning inside me.

Anyways, I'm going to wait upon the Holy Spirit to lead me on this matter. But can you please keep us in your prayers for after the service there is a "christmas dinner / lunch" and we are deffinitly going. Me and my husband feel lead to put oil on our hands (for in that religion you need to great everyone with the hand) and we are going to annoint everyone in the name of Jesus by greating them. We're going to mark them in the Name of Jesus Christ, so that the spirit world can see that mark and keep away from them while the Holy Spirit can work with them.

We are also going to put on the Armor of God and plead the Blood of Jesus over us and over the food before we eat it. We believe that God Almighty will be with us just like Elijah. Amen.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

unless you are annointed to do battle like this i would advise against it. you can pray for them in a prayer closet with a shut door.
