Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise. Proverbs 11:38-30 ESV

The choices you make and the trust that you place in others will have a significant impact on your family and on your long-term security. You may not see the results of some decisions in the short term, but over time you will bear fruit that is in keeping with your choices and with where you place your trust. You can’t escape the future that your way of living today is creating.

Consider where you place your trust right now. Do you trust in your bank account, or are you banking on God’s presence in your life? Are you working toward reconciliation with others and making peace where there is conflict, or are you stirring up fights and division? The Bible is full of people who assumed they were living the right way, only to find that they were loyal to money or given to combating others. Invest today in the kind of fruit that will be stable and beneficial to others.

Prayer: Help me, Lord, to see the ways I’ve trusted in anything other than You. May I bring peace and unity to others.

2Co 3:2 You yourselves are our letter. You are written on our hearts. Everyone knows you and reads you.
2Co 3:3 You make it clear that you are a letter from Christ. You are the result of our work for God. You are a letter written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. You are a letter written not on tablets made out of stone but on human hearts. (NiRV)

As believers we are to really influence in particular those non believers and in the hopes of being believers in Jesus Christ! With both actions and words.
