I am afraid of the Holy Spirit within

Hello all! I have been working on myself and my relationship with God and have now realized fully that the Holy Spirit, for sure, resides in me.
This is hard to explain and I pray someone will understand what I’m saying. Ok so I talk to the Holy Spirit indirectly in my mind. Which is why I get frustrated bc I wonder why He isn’t answering me and why I’m talking to myself? Well I had a realization that it’s because I’m afraid of God. I have a fear big time of the Holy Spirit and when I realized this, I said directly to Him in a question, “Holy Spirit,” as in, a are you there fashion.. and He said “Yes” and it scared be greatly.
I can feel myself (my spirit maybe?) Hide within myself..
Has anyone else discovered anything like this about themselves? I’m very in tune with my mind, body, soul, and heart and spirit.
I have recently repented and turned from my ways and am on the straight and narrow. Please help and give me your thoughts?

Yes, I often hear mentally the Holy Spirit inside me, usually telling me affirmative for whatever query I have of it. Sometimes the response is negative, and sometimes the response is quietness, and I assume that means that the answer is more than just yes or no.

God is a Spirit and when God speaks to us he speaks to our spirit. The Apostle Paul refers to the spirit of man as, "the hidden man of the heart" (1 Peter 3:4)

Pro 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Psa 18:28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

Darkness refers to simply not knowing (lack of knowledge, lack of understanding, lacking information) When God enlightens you it will be by His Spirit to your spirit.

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

the Holy Spirit does come in dreams, you can see him, we know.

there are 3 types of dreams, the first one is mind dreaming, these are what you put in your mind before you sleep, day events, which are everyday dreams, then there are dirty dreams, which are nightmares, that come from the world in darkness, these come from familiar spirits, they come because of what they see from the life of a person, and then you have dreams of illumination, which are of the light.

illumination is a visual out-of-body experience this is called the silver cord

You definitely have the Holy Spirit within you. I can feel the Holy Spirit within me confirming this.

The thought that comes to my mind from the Holy Spirit, is for you to be quiet in the presence of God and to let God's heart settle into you.

I did not want to take away from the moment, of the presence of the Holy Spirit in those words.

But the thought that came to my mind also is that you should go towards the thing that you find fear in. Because I think what I see in my mind is that you are afraid to open up completely to the Lord, to become vulnerable to God

Yes what you are now seeing is the changes I have made. Also, yellow is another light color that is also difficult to see. At least for some, but it is better than white which is a great camouflage on white backgrounds!

You will be able to see what I mean the next time you type a post (preferably before you post it) in white then at the bottom of the page change the view to "light mode". Your writing will have disappeared!
