i am praying that my husband will change and come to church with me.but he fights me when i just ask if he would like to go church with me,what can i do?.

My Sister, you need to change your prayer to 'Lord change me, so my husband will see YOU in me, and be drawn to YOU.'
It is not up to you to 'do' anything besides live in daily submission to the Lord and your husband. When 'change' is the Lords 'doing', hearts and lives are changed to the glory of God.

Blessings

Those are words of wisdom Coconut.

aqpgirl86 do not be discouraged. My father in-law got saved and my mother in-law persecuted him (screaming, throwing stuff at him, harassing him, belittling him and much worse) for over a decade. In the end she came to Christ because if his steadfast walk and the love of Christ that shined through his walk.

Me too

I have the same thing going on in my house. I recieved Christ after I was already married. My husband has been to church with me many times but that doesn't save anyone. When I first accepted Christ I came to my husband and bared my heart before him telling him about Jesus and so forth. He got mad at me and told me to shut up and quit trying to sell him something. God showed me right then and there to lay my husband down at the foot of the cross. To stop trying to be his savior (because we are not) and let Jesus do what only He can.

My husband still hasn't accepted Christ. It has been about 4 years since I accepted Him. As I have been led by God I have followed and God has transformed my life drastically. My husband actually told me one day that he "wants to be like me". Of course it is not me that he is seeing and desiring to be like. It is Christ within me that he is seeing, and that is what I told him. He has said "you look like you but that is all that is still the same, your skin!" (praise the Lord).

Learn to give God control. Surrender everything to Him and walk with Him. He will do His part you only have to do yours. Please remember that Christ is the Savior. We could never be anyones savior so don't try to carry a burden that you were never meant to carry. He will see Christ in you even without you trying to show him Christ. Seek first the kingdom! Gbu

Hi there I am a born-again Christian and I will keep your husband in my prayers. May God bless you and your family and I hope he will return to Jesus Christ.

Remember not to get discourage and keep praying for him, hun. That intercession prayer is being heard by your Heavenly Father.

A sanctified wife can make a sanctified husband. My husband was in another religion other than my faith and I did not ask God to change him, I continue to stand firm according to the gospel not my own beliefs, and it drew him. He became hungry for the word. He did not go with me to bible study, but if he wanted to hear I shared some things from the class with him. I work third shift so a lot of times I did not go. But I found myself going just because he wanted to know what the class was about. He is now an active member baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. He beats me to church. My only advice is dont force him. Just live godly.

I understand where you are coming from. It is a very rough situation to be in. The devil likes to attack the mind

"The spiritual battle takes place in our minds, but the place we give Christ in our hearts determines our victory" Magdalene.

Do not let your home be broken because of this, be like a light and shine for your husband. Be the example..We all learn from examples and someday he will want to go to church and have a close walk with God. During this time just stay strong and keep your light shining...

God Bless
Your in my prayers

Misty

Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
