I Cried

I cried-
for the family that has no money for food
I cried-
for the Jew who knows about Christ, but not as a personal friend
I cried-
for the soldier who fought to the end,
for the homeless person freezing each night,
for the child who knows no love,
for the lost souls that we greet each day at work,
for the single mothers who have no help,
I cried

This is a very touching poem, the thing is our Father cries for these and many others. That is why we must spread the good new of His wonderful free gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ. We must strive to pray more. We must love, their are so many people in need and they need our love, prayers, and us to guide them to the Lord. Love in Christ, Amber.

Right on Amber! I live in an area where many of the following things you mentioned happen here. We have a lot of the working poor here, where they work their fingers to the bone just to get enough money to pay all those doctor bills that have added up. A few years back, we finally had a youth pastor and his family establish something for the youth in the area. We had nothing for the youth to do, except cause trouble. They have so many activities for them now, including free tutoring. I'm not trying to sound sappy and sad here- it's reality to many of us. I've been thinking of writing this poem for sometime now, and finally did. Just a glimps of our Heavenly Father's heart.

Very Good Sister...
