I Got Baptized!

I wanted to share with you all something that God blessed me with on my recent trip to West Virginia.
My Friends, brothers and sisters in Jesus I was baptized. It was amazing and awesome and God made
it all possible. People ask me what it felt like going down into the water and I honestly tell them I don't
remember. All I remember is being baptized but not if the water was cold or not. It was one of the biggest
blessings of my life time and am so Thankful to God

It was truly wonderful to be baptized with my mom, dad and my best friend and her family there to witness it.
God moved in ways that were amazing to make this happen. I didn't think it was gonna happen due to by laws
which said I would have to join the church to be baptized, but when I spoke of my concerns telling them that it
was unfair to make someone join a specific church to be baptized and I didn't feel comfortable with it there was
a lot of talk about it not happening, so we that is my best friend, our friend and preacher's wife Yvonne, along with
others started to pray about it and next thing I knew I was told the baptism would take place. I was so greatful and
thankful to God and still am today.

When the disciples were told to baptize the nations and when John baptized in the Jordan. They were baptizing into
the one who would baptize with the Holy Spirit and that one is Jesus. No where in the bible did I see them baptizing
into a certain religion or church. I love going to church but wanted baptized only in the name of the Father, Son and
Holy Ghost. Praise God for making that happen and for those that were put in my path to help make that happen.

Its about time sister!!! LOL You know I say this in love of course! i am so very glad for you,it will be a day to you even as we remember our Jesus at communion( 1 cor 11:24) For upon ones water baptism,we kneel right next to Jesus as he knelled before the Father. And his water,became our blood from him he shed for our baptism. This is a great and wonderful day sis! Thanks so much for sharing!
