This week I received 2 disturbing reports regarding my husband. I was told by 2 separate people, who have NO connection to one another, but they are affilated with the same religious back ground.

Both said that my husband is reprobate, and no neither of them even considered how their words were affecting me, which is NOT good! This came when my week has been extremely difficult, I am not well (battling disease in my body) heavy fatigue and depression already; Now This! Talk about untimely!

I need peace! One believes that I need to get out of this marriage, they have said several times. I am so very overwhelmed.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee, because he trusteth in Thee
Isaiah 26:3

Keep focused on the Lord and trust Him to reveal only what is true....and to shut up any unruly tongue.

I will pray for you @Playful Otter

Grace and Peace to you

God , has ministered to me in such a special way today, sort and sweet, which is so,... like the God that I know! Though I mourn, yet I am blessed and that is my qualification.! Like I said short and sweet, easy to understand- My God Knows ME! I am in mourning my lost loved ones, for those who hate me for Christ's sake. They hated Him first and now I too am walking in His footsteps. Isaiah 53:3 is my testimony in a nut shell.

Thank you, for praying for my husband, he really does need a renewing yes, but reprobate please Lord let that not be so!!! We have been married 43 yrs come this June, he is a bitter man and needs God!!!

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matt 5:4

Likely we will come a place where we mourn for more people instead of fewer as so many walk without God or away from God.

Reprobate, as I see it means the person has take than final irrevocable step away from God from which there is no further hope. If we are ourselves walking close to God, He will speak to us as He spoke to Samuel the prophet telling him to stop mourning for King Saul:

"And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel?" I Sam 16:1

God will not cast us away from Him unless and until, I believe, that we know exactly what we are doing when we walk away from and we go ahead and walk away anyway. Few people know the Lord and that things of the Lord so well. How many chances are we to be given? God knows and He will tell those who He decides also need to know.

Give God the glory!

P.S. My marriage to my only wife will reach 45 years this coming June.
