I Remember thanksgiving at grand ma’s house. Grand Pa died when my dad was 12 so I never saw him. Grandma always made the thanksgiving meal. It was great! She made pumpkin pie and milk pie for dessert. At Christmas time she made pecan pie too. Grand ma could really cook.
Her house was three-story and made of brick. Grand pa designed it but died before it was done. We kids would go to the top of the stairs, which were carpeted. Then we would slide down the stairs on our stomics. It was a rough ride but we laughed all the way down the stairs. Some times we would slide down the hand rail too.
