Shalom!

On Friday morning, I was robbed very early and I lost my laptop along with my external removable dis, my removable USB key and my mobile phone. Inside the laptop there are all the mark sheets and reports of my pupils and I am still wondering what I must do. The third and last term exam is to be next week from Tuesdqy 21 May 2019 and Friday 10th May was the last day for classes.

All the my job I did for years was lost in one day (all the Youtube videos: classes, fims, marks sheets, reports, class exams, music, etc). I don't know what I must do for now and even for next school year.

I cannot work without a computer. I have some paper I did not give back to my pupils. I am afraid of not giving right marks to my pupils. I also have been running a letters exchange between my pupils and other pupils from overseas. All the saved job is inside. If the robber(s) could bring me back all my materials or devices I would be very glad. I know Yahweh my Lord God is able of every kind of miracle and I strongly believe that everything is possible to Him.

The robber(s) came home when it was raining. The lock of my door did not work well because it could not be closed from inside so I used a lace to keep my door slightly closed thanks to a lace. However, it could be closed from outside. I got up around 2am to go to the bathroom then I went back to the house and I stayed awake until around 3am to 4am. I plugged my laptop and it was when I woke that I noticed the damage. Certainly, the wind of the rain had opened the door.
I am very upset and very sad.

Please I really need your prayers and advice.

Greetings,

praying

is this a time that the Lord would have you turn to Him and know his great plan for you, to bless you and keep you?
It may seem disastrous but it is not the end. if you do not get your things back, can God not see you through it as you trust in Him? You mention pulpit things. Ought we trust the One Who we might teach and preach about. in all things?

May you be strengthened to endure this time and in seeking the Lord, find Him with all that you need according to His plan and purpose for you and all others in this matter.
Yes, it would be good if the robber was to return your things. May whoever it is discover Jesus and His Life.

Bless you ....><>

I’m so sorry to hear that, friend. I just said a prayer for you, asking the Lord to intervene in your situation and work out everything good for you. May you rest in the assurance the psalmist expressed when he wrote: “In the day of trouble I shall call upon Thee, for Thou wilt answer me” (Psalm 86:7). Sending prayers & blessings your way!

Praying the Lord to intervene. I am a colleague, I know the feeling. The Lord will show you a solution. Don't despair

Hello Brother bear,

What do you mean by "pulpit things"? Did I write or say something wrong?

Thank you very much brother BoboL and glad to meet you. I think we can talk more next time. Yesterday Yahweh blessed me with some money then i could buy a mobile phone. In that way and even if I do not have money for now , I cannot miss any information from school and church brethren.

Shalom!

I was robbed once early on for my generosity. Instead of getting mad, I took it as a blessing for minimalism and made the best of it. Although saying so, I won't take it as a blessing if it happens again. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

Revelation

3 “To the angel[a] of the church in Sardis write:

These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

Shalom!

Hello Jellani and thanks for your suggestion and piece of advice. You know, in te beginning I did not have a computer and when yahweh blessed me with a computer it was infected by several viruses then I spent years without it and he blessed more with my first laptop. And on 20 May either ten days after the loss I was given some money that allow me to buy a mobile phone. And yesterday I was blessed again with a brother who gave me a CPU and I need for now a screen so that I can work at home.

Though I need a laptop I should content myself with the essential and yahweh knows what will happen.

Matthew 18:18-20 New International Version (NIV)

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

God is indeed faithful bro. Sometimes losing the things that really wont matter teaches us to refocus ourselves on what really matters. There’s so much more to be thankful.
