Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the LORD;
Isaiah was used powerfully by God as His profit, to warn the nations of the doom to come, unless they turned from their rebellious ways, and would obey His laws and commands; God laid out His plan, which was simple and easy to understand:
Isa 1:16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,
Isa 1:17 Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.
Isa 1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
Isa 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;
Isa 1:20 But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword"; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Today throughout the professing Church we see the same thing happening, as their liberal and loose doctrines of men coddle the sinners to stay in their rebellious state, carnal and sold under sin!
Many will say we cannot repent, or that repentance is legalism, or Jesus repented for us because we are helpless sinners unable, and unwilling to be obedient to God until some miraculous provision comes and takes their place.
They take the word of God and make it into a mockery, somehow taking their ability to wash themselves clean, and put away and forsake the evil of their doings before God who is waiting patiently for them to stop mocking Him and His commands.
They make every excuse why they cannot stop sinning, and then blame it on God for creating them that way such as the homosexual crowd who has the audacity to say God made them the way they are, and then invent their own Bible to justify their perverted lifestyle.
But God will not wait for long and the invitation won’t last forever, the time for salvation is NOW, the time is at hand, to repent as commanded, then come and reason with God, He is looking for a heart that’s broken, contrite and sincere, where the wicked rebellion and selfishness has been put to death with Christ, He will not despise this kind of brokenness!
But there are always consequences with the choices that are made, and for those who refuse to obey His call to repent, and seek His great mercy, He promised to devour them with His sword, which doesn’t sound like the tolerant god being worshipped by the liberal, apostate church people today, who say sin humbles them, and if we could stop sinning (rebellion) against God, then we wouldn’t need Jesus!
Some of the most highly educated Bible pundits have told me this, where they again mock God and His great power over sin, temptation and the devil. Jesus came to set the captives free in reality, not by some forensic provision, He came to put to death sin and the corrupting influence of the world on mankind, but this will never happen when repentance and faith proven by deeds is thrown out the door, along with their sense of reason, telling them repentance and stopping their rebellious behavior cannot happen because they were born that way.
1 Jn 3:6 hoever abides in Him does not sin(willful rebellion)). Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
1 Jn 3:7 ittle children, let no one deceive you. He who practices (produces) righteousness (doing what is right) is righteous, just as He is righteous.
1 Jn 3:8 e who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, (appeared, came) that He might destroy (kill, put to death) the works of the devil!
It’s simple, but thanks to the weak kneed liberal pastors, who will not come clean before God themselves, nothing is going to happen, as they cannot give what they do not possess themselves, so the multitude of gullible and simple minded people are heading for the sword God promised to the ones who refuse His call to lay aside all wickedness and filthiness, and seek His mercy and forgiveness!
Isa 55:6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
