Does God forgive EVERYTHING? All sins that we commit? Does He forgive them and just let us move on? Are there any sins that are unforgivable? i'm a little confused as to if He forgives everything or just select.

In Gods eyes all sins are weighed the same, and yes God will forgive for all sins..except the denial of Christ.

I THINK, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Matthew 12:31-32

31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

God forgives everyone who has a repentant heart. But you have to be truly sorry, not just sorry you got caught. Once you asked for forgiveness and one He forgives you, He will never hold it against you again. :) Awesome isn't it?

1 Corinthians 12:3

Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

The reason why "Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" is unforgivable is because the Holy Spirit is draws us all to salvation. It's kind of like asking someone "Can you drive me home" and then slashing the tires to their car.

The issue here is habitual sin, which, as I see it, is habitual repetition of the same sinful act with no desire or intention to repent.

The Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that the Pharisees were guilty of would not be forgiven (despite their scrupulous superficial observance of the Law) because it was intentional and they were destined to die in their sin because they would never repent
(see Jn 8:24).

I don't like to argue about the Bible, but Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is just what it says.

Blasphemy
impious utterance or action concerning God or sacred things

Blasphemy is not habitual. It is a one time act.

Mark 3:28-29 read these verses. All sin can be forgiven. May I sudjest that you pray to Jesus to help you live a righteous, holy, seperate from the world life. He has done that for me. I'm to weak to measure up so I depend on him for help. His love conquers all sin and his blood washed it away. As we stay in the bible and apply it's teachings we will be transformed and renewed in the mind. Rom. 12:1-3. it is a matter of faith to believe God to help us. God bless.

I suppose the only unforgivable sin would be a failure to yield our will to the Holy Spirit. Who really is our master - God's nature, or our nature?

Mark 3:28-29 read these verses. All sin can be forgiven.

You mentioned Mark 3:29 but did not quote it. Mark 3:29 says:"But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." Verse 28 is not a stand alone Scripture; it must always be connected to verse 29 for the context Mark intended.

Sorry i understand part of it, but exactly what does the bible refers with blasphemes against the holy spirit

As I understand it, Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is intentionally crediting Satan with the miracles wrought by Jesus. The Pharisees used that in a desperate attempt to discredit Jesus' ministry.

I also want to ask something about the Holy Spirit.

Does it mean that when you asked for the Holy Spirit once, it will not "go out" to you?

Hope you can help me. I am also a bit confused about the passage of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. What would that mean??

The Scripture that I believe supports this is Mt 12:22-28, which tells of Jesus casting a demon out of a man and the Pharisees' desperate attempt to discredit Him by saying He was in partnership with the devil. Regarding current situations, its still true that people who are desperately looking for a way to explain away miracles will, if their audience is gullible, try to give Satan credit for what the Holy Spirit is doing.
