I think being a teen is tough but I would like to now if any of you think you should go to colledge only because your parents want you to? I Really don't know want I wanna do yet but my parents insist I go to university. Please give me your thoughts!!!! Lou

Lou, you might change your mind when the time comes. It might seem very appealing to you at that time after high school graduation! Your parents believe in you--they feel you are bright, or they wouldn't be wanting further schooling for you. Have you prayed about it, Lou? God has a plan for you, irregardless of your parents' plans for you, lol. Let your parents help you in choosing a college, but it's ultimately God's choice whether you go to college and which one! He wants the best for you!

Perfectly put, Dreamer. My best friend just picked his university, he asked God for guidance and God gave it to him, he had around 6 people tell him that that school would be better AND the school added alot of money to his scholarship as well!

Yeh... i feel the same pressure... just in a slightly different manner. i want to go to a specific uni but my parents are determined that i go to another. they wont stop telling ppl that im gonna go to the uni where they want me to be when i have made it clear to them where i wanna be. i really dont think they understand sometimes...
