Greetings,

below is a video message about the first word in Scripture. Please listen and watch and give share any thoughts about it.
I am very interested if anyone can offer sound criticism.

If the content is true, it is extra significant as the first word was written thousands of years ago.

looking forward to constructive replies.

Bless you ....><>

Happy new year Br Bear,
I hardly ever open unsolicited links, so I looked at the "first words in the bible" and saw nothing that indicated that "Jesus would die...".

I dont really click on youtubes either because its easier for me to read than to sit and hear and watch. But I will say the mans voice sounds like one of those computer robots.

He's explaining 'in the beginning' but the only thing is did he mean the first sentence that Jesus will die, obviously not but that the Word was given. So I don't know about that. I do agree that when we look in Genesis we (who are saved) can discern that God was going to send a Saviour but it would not have been obvious to Adam and Eve.

God did give them a prophecy and obviously was still looking out for them because He clothed them after they found themselves naked.

  • I enjoyed the video very much! I know nothing of Aramaic or Hebrew. I take the discussion on face-value and find it very plausible and even true because of the way I analyze scripture........No one has taught me this method, I can only assume it came via the Holy Spirit.
  • Though I rarely get all scripture immediately, knowing God's nature, when I analyze a verse for the first time, I judge the verse's outcome to be only holy and positive. So, as I analyze the verse's meaning, it must fit that criteria and, if not, then I am on the wrong track. I come back latter until I see the verse as confirmed for the truth: I go with that initial meaning criteria until It is latter confirmed to be right or I see the more accurate meaning....never deviating from the holiness and positive meaning.....God never would deal in unholiness or a negative .
  • I look at this video explanation as meeting the holiness and positive criteria and until I am presented with another explanation, I consider it to be truth.
  • Thank you very much for the info!!

Hebrew is the most exact and versatile language to ever grace this planet....You saw the letters the way they line up......You decide....Personally I think its true.
