Introduce Myself

Hello all.

I have recently been water baptized this year. I have accept Lord Jesus as my saviour and to live within my heart. My goal is to live every day without sin and to try to be more like Jesus.

I recently finished the entire bible for the first time in April 2023. As such, the main reason I joined Talk Jesus is to find a place to get others opinions on questions I may have.

Although I have bought two (2) study bibles, I feel connecting with others is the best approach for strengthening my relationship with God.

I own the NLT Illustrated Bible, the NIV Quest Bible.

I began reading the NIV, didn't like it, then read the NKJV and settled on the NLT.

I am not a KJV only mindset, my two favourite bible translations are the NLT and NKJV.

I may consider reading other translations in the future, probably the CSB or the ESV.
