Hello,

My name is Josh, and I am pleased to join this forum as a new member. I have struggled with faith throughout my life, however, I acknowledge that despite difficulties, God never leaves us. I look forward to meeting you all in the near future, and becoming more active within the forums.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, Who also maketh intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:31-39

Thank you for your reply.
There is a sense of security within that piece of scripture. No matter how we falter, God loves us unconditionally.

Greetings Josh, @ClearWaters

Welcome to the forum, another member from the UK.

We pray you are blessed and join in fellowship, Bible study and prayer.

Jesus knows everything about us Josh and God never leaves us. Jesus never said this life would be easy, in fact He says the opposite.

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Luke 13:24-30 (NKJV)
"Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Bless you

Thank you for your reply.
I have been looking at the membership, and there's a good handful from the UK. I concur, a Christian life is no walk in the park, but commitment and dedication.
Great scripture extracts too, thank you for providing them in such context.

Brother Clearwaters,we are all a work in progress( Phil 1:6) But something which really helped me get over my faults,ah not all of them mind you,for even at my tender age of 66 would you believe I still have some??? LOL One night as I was in prayer,Holy Spirit inside me brought me to these verses of scripture( Phil 4:7-9) and then said this inside to me."How can Jesus ever keep his peace about any of us, unless he chooses to look at us in verse 8 light?

How can any of us hear thou good and faithful servant enter into your rest unless Jesus looks at each one of us through verse 8 light? Therefore my son he said choose to look at yourself in this light, and the light of peace shall all be with you,for my word states( Rom 15:13) Notice these things about yourself rather then what one lacks thereof". I found brother as I began to follow this instruction,my lack or burden became FAR LESS! And the confidence which Jesus himself gave each one of us which comes with his measure of faith( Rom 12:3) sustains us!! HOPE!!! Which cannot run dry! Glad you are among us brother, for who are we by our self?
