Is it Okay to love God more than Jesus Christ?

Dont get me wrong, I accept Jesus Christ, Jesus loves you too. But its not weird to love our heavenly father and creator more?

I used to see the Father and Jesus as two totally different Persons. I always talked to Jesus and in my mind the Father you had to watch out for. That's total nonsense.
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

How can you love One more than the Other? How do you even see the difference? Who was talking? Would Philip love the Father more who spoke to him or Jesus?

I don't believe Jesus ever said he was God, yes he was god in the flesh the son of God, but not God the creator
Edit, its worth noting I'm pretty new to the faith obviously. And I am aware that Jesus said ''No one gets to the father than through me''

"Then they asked him, 'Where is your father?' 'You do not know me or my Father,' Jesus replied. 'If you knew me, you would know my Father also'" (John 8:19) "'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I am!'" (John 8:58). "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

"I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!" —Revelation 1:17-18
