School-Kids-Revival that hit Shillong
(North East India)
School-Kids-Revival that hit Shillong (North East India)- Mostly since August 2006. High intensity Presence of God since last 2 weeks in almost all Presbyterian schools and churches.
Few catholic schools are also hit by this wave.
Its spontaneous. No leader. No preacher. The Spirit simply falls in the classrooms and assembly lines (before school day begins both Christian and government schools gather for prayer or for sing some anthem etc.)

School kids are hit by a wave of the Holy Spirit while attending secular classes. They fall down, cry, repent, seek God's power to preach, tell that the entire must repent, see visions of( Jesus and angels and heaven and hell and Book of life.)
Schools have to be shut down.
Also happens in Nursing College hostel, Arts and Science College, Higher Secondary School, on the road(a girl fell down after returning from a revival meeting in Nongstoin village- and she had to be brought back to the church building).
One girl whose mother is a alcohol maker/supplier remained unconscious under the Spirit's power, - she insisted that her mum must stop alcohol business. This family in non-Christian. They are tribal animists.

More incidences where children fell down on the road. They were taken back to the nearest Presbyterian church buildings/hall.
One Bengali Hindu girl was touched by the Holy Spirit at her school. (1).She has been attending the Laban Presbyterian church meeting since Friday (31st august 2006).
(2) One Bihari Hindu boy was 2 things
(a) Hell
(b) a Big Book. But neither his name nor his parent's were in that book. He then came to know that unless one believes in Christ, then his name will never be in the book. And those whose name is not in the Book will go to hell. On Monday at 7 PM some believer has gone to give the family some counselling
(3) On Monday 4th September, revival broke out in a Buddhist school, at POLO GROUNDS SHILLONG (near the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU STADIUM)-( Address FOREST COLONY).
(4) This happens mainly amongst the Presbyterians. It does not take place in the charismatic groups.
(5) Presbyterian pastors and elders/deacons are called to the schools to minister.
(6) charismatic pastors and elders/deacons are also called to the schools to minister. There is harmony amongst the two denominations.
(7) Mawngap Presbyterian church has been having a revival wave since March/April 2006 or even before that
(8) A Hindu girl in a school in the POLO area o Shillong saw a vision and said handsome.. handsome The Hindu mother asked who is handsome?, she replied its the man she's seeing in the vision. The mother asked who this man is, and the girl replied YESHU.
(9) All these revivals start from schools. Most are Presbyterian, but even Hindu and government (not affiliated to any religion) schools.
(10) RAM KRIHSNA SCHOOL in CHERAPUNJI (the world's wettest place- with the highest rainfall) also experienced revival. This school is based on the philosophy of SWAMI VIVEKANANDA who believes that all rivers lead to the same ocean. So they keep pictures of Jesus, celebrate Christmas, read the bible but also perform Hindu rituals. Its a pluralistic theology.

(13) At homes also kids just get into revival. They scream and fall down
(14) some op the Highlights are: No 1. Its repentance of the kids. All seek forgiveness of sins
(15) Another highlight is that Jesus is coming soon
(16) only 2 or 3 pages are left in the bible. all is torn off. so only a few chapters are left unfilfilled.
(17) They saw one of Jesus ' feet on the planet earth already- the other is still in heaven(maybe????)
He's already had a touch-down.
His full landing is not far away.
(18) IN most cases, the kids will remain unconscious unless and until each and every member of the family agrees to repent. Even if one member is not willing, then the kid get back into an unconscious stae
(19) They pray for power to preach the gospel
(20) The kids insists that the relationship between mother-father needs to be restored. This is a common theme. Parents feel shy since kids pray out loud on this kind of matter. The kids seem to reveal everything.
(21) NONGMYNSONG area is where Victor Demonte and team visited in 96/97/98 along with the Rajesh Ahuja, Steven, the Pinto sisters, Jyoti(Living light), and many others. Majority of the church reside in this area. Sameer, Sydney and others have visited many times. Jesus was seen moving in the Presbyterian church building in this area. Kids remove their shoes since they see Him. They run after Jesus all over the building, since they see Him inside the hall. They say, "here there, see Him...."... They crawl on their knees. They dare not even stand up.
(22) Birds come and rest on bibles in the pulpits in a few church buildings.
(23) A demon possessed lady crawl like a snake (I guess this similar thing happened at GNC building in 1990s, - if I heard this correctly years back.). i guess she got delivered later.
(24) Today's newspaper reports focus on the imminent closing of the Door of Mercy.
Miracle Cross: The faithful throng Malki Presbyterian Church since Tuesday 1:40 am to witness the unusual light surrounding the Cross. The believers consider it as power of the Holy Spirit as part of the revival spreading Khasi and Jaintia Hills. For the past few days, students in various schools were losing their consciousness for reasons, the believers attribute to the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is said that the fortunate lot encountered blissful moments with the Holy Spirit. Tuesday night was an occasion for the believers to experience such presence and spend the night in the church praying to Jesus.
