I think everybody would like be able to claim that Jesus had some special connection with their country or family or history, and many have done just that. However, even human reasoning can see beyond the tale(s).
We are told that there would be a lot of this sort of stuff. Also warned to keep away from it and not get caught up in the vacuum of hopeful imagination that a lack of Jesus in peoples lives creates.
There are that many differing stories about where Jesus spent His chilhood and who with, and the consequent claims to His blessings and power having been transmitted somehow to the 'blessed' peoples, and if you were to accept them all, then you would find that it would be impossible!
We can see the same trend in religious groups and denominations, claiming to have that special connection with God or Jesus, and therefore being that much more 'blessed' than all the others.
However, God has made the truth available through Jesus Christ His Son, to all people and He is not a respecter of persons, in other words, He does not have personal preferences, nor has He nor will He grant special visitations upon one people or place.
Our only claim to God is in believing that God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, as a propitiation for our sins.
Myths and legends seek to bring bondage through superstition to the people who entertain them.
Keep away from idols.... including stories that have been fabricated by man.
Thanks for sharing this fable with us, Mike. At best, it's cute. But we serve a Mighty and terrible God who doesn't fit in our stories that lay special claim to Him, and defile the truth.... so, it isn't even cute... but rather, another lie.

I dont understand how the muslim religion has rejected Gospel anymore as a lie than any other people in world.

Mike, how many men & women from Islam have you witnessed to? Of them, how many have you met who have heard the Gospel preached with power with signs testifying, and then rejected the truth?
When Jesus spoke about the blind, did He have Muslims in mind, or perhaps those who had heard ....?

im not at all bothered about were i worship, it was your hipocracy at thinking i was trying to draw special attention to the place were i lived and get special blessings from god that inspired me to think that you had distain for anything made for god by man being a lie, which is what you said (its right there above)
as for muslims i know hundreds of them, and ive nothing against their physical bodys at all but they say that jesus is a prophet so they know who he is and must know his message, so what is their ansaw to saying that mohamed rose to heaven in jerusalem after the times of jesus. if you believe in compassion for this belief then you dont even know jesus.

I was not thinking that of you at all. I was explaining about myths and fables in answer to your initial post that you have now removed, where you shared the local story about Jesus having been left there by a Joseph while Joseph went off doing a tin deal.... and my reply was to any who might think that such stories are true.
This is a public forum, Mike, and there are those who read things here who are searching for truth to set them free, and my post was in order to warn all about following vain fables .... from anywhere and anytime. yep as i said im an idiot. however i didnt delete my post because of fear of reprisals or because i was ashamed of it on the contrary, the scene is set in my country for great martredom, only yestarday a vicar was attacked for confiscating a ball off asian youths who were kicking it at the christ on the cross outside his church.he was punched to the floor and has black eyes. i cant and wouldnt go and kick a ball at a mosque, but i will keep telling them the truth so that it injures their weak minds makes them angry and attack me as well.
