Getting this said to me as a neurodivergent man made me question, is this true? I need answers.

The term “neurodivergent” describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain works. That means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don't have those differences. The possible differences include medical disorders, learning disabilities and other conditions.

God loves them too.

yes, it's not my fault that my brain is different from others. I can't just switch it around one day.

Hello @Aiden,

It must be distressing to hear such comments as that which is in your subject heading. I am sorry that you have been exposed to such a comment. Especially as it is so untrue. God loves you very, very much, and wants you to simply trust Him. The Lord Jesus Christ has opened up the way to the Father, by taking upon Himself the penalty for sin, and dying in our place, that we, through trusting Him as our Saviour, can have our sin forgiven, and receive the promise of life, eternal life, in His Name.

Simply trust Him, Aiden, and become acquainted with what the risen Lord has achieved on your behalf, so that comments like this will never cause you anxiety again.

With love in Christ Jesus
our risen and glorified Saviour,
our Lord and Head.
Chris

A man can say many things, but what does the word of God teach?
In my Pentecostal church we have a few "neurodivergent" members who have been born from above by baptism in water and the Holy Spirit (and they speak in tongues).
Put your trust in God and the gospel and not in other people's opinions.

Simply trust God, Aiden.

Faith is just believing that what God says He will surely do.
Don't look for external evidences of any kind.
Just live in thankfulness and praise.

In Christ Jesus

What is this supposed to mean??

1Cor 14:22; So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign, not to unbelievers but to those who believe.

Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1Corinthians 12:30

Greetings Aiden,

have not seen you round for a while.

What is happening?

Getting this said to me as a neurodivergent man made me question, is this true? I need answers.

You know, people say all manner of things and sadly, professing Christians can cut the deepest, especially if we consider them as friends. I am reminded of a song by Michael Card, called "Why"

Why did it have to be a friend? asking about Judas Iscariot....

Bless you ....><>

I am wondering if... you see God doing what He says He will do...
isn't that an "external evidence"?

Hello @B-A-C & @Waggles,

I meant what I said. In my experience, the Christian walk does not consist of signs, wonders and spiritual gifts. It is a walk of pure faith in the One Who died for you and rose again, in the sure and certain hope of life everlasting.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

That is just for you - but for me and millions of others our Christian walk does consist of signs, wonders and spiritual gifts.
This is why people who are "neurodivergent" can also rejoice in the full gospel because God loves them as well.
