Jesus, My Shepherd

Jesus is my shepherd
And I am his sheep
He leads me beside quiet waters
He restores my soul

Even though I am one of many
He calls me by name
And tells me he has chosen me to do his will
He also told me that he came to give me life and also peace
His knowledge of me and what will happen to me is extaordinary

I will fear no evil for you are with me
Jesus comforts me and anoints me
I know he is powerful for he has shown me his power and mercy
I know I will be with him soon

It makes me feel so good to know he would go out to rescue the lost sheep and claim them as his own
He also did this once for me
Now my soul wonders,
"How far does this amazing grace go to save soul like me?"
