What makes you reply to a thread?
A catchy title? The spirit motivates you?A favourite member has written it?
Whatever reason just tell me your motivation behind your posts, like i said-im just curious.

well you know what happened to that curious cat? jk lol

It really depends why I answer somethimes it is because I am being silly like right now. Or the Holy Spirit leads me to . On most topics I pray right then as I am reading it and go from there. I dont alway s speak becasue I feel that it all has been covered. Did that answer or was it more like a going on and on?lol

well now I gave an answer can you please ty :) Joyfully ~ Jlu

Hey, Mine is also similar. if people have said it all, i dont really add. and when the Holy Spirit moves i reply, but like Jesuslovesu said, also when we're just silly. right on! but hey, there's a point to everything. God bless you all

Hi, Sparky!

I am new to Talk Jesus (I do not know everyone). I reply primarily to the home page forums, current threads listed. There appears to have been a few changes over the last few weeks. I reply to Brothers and Sisters that are active now. I have made a few new Christian friends.

Honestly, people make it known who they prefer to chat with, cell groups.

Your Sister in Christ,
Dr. Bon Vie

Tut,how smoooth are you-lol

I agree with what's been written...it's mainly the Holy Spirit's leading. I like the fun topics too & they are refreshing in the midst of troubles I may have had that day. Sometimes it is so good to just take your shoes off & run laughing together - I think that is music to God's ears.

Hey sparks,
I am replying to this thread cuz you're my favorite.
Come into chat sometime.
We miss you.

I naturally reply to all (usually not youth or parent forums) because it is my site and I should / want to be active 24/7. Its my love not just my site.

I enjoy fellowship with everyeone and want to communicate to everyone every day.

Hey sluggy, you are funny.

Okay, my turn not to be funny...
I reply to were I feel lead. If anyone has already made a point there is no point to me reiterating it. I don't type to hear myself speak...(okay, couldnt resist. lol)

Sparky,
I reply to a thread for a number of reasons: 1.When the topic interests me, which I read if the Title intrigues me; 2.When I cannot leave misinformation uncorrected ("Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit" says the Lord.); 3.When I believe I can help a brother or sister. I think thats it mainly!

Good Question Sparky,
It seems to be just where you are least expecting it, Jesus will take the heavy load off your shoulders and yu can be at Peace with Him. Thats why I've spent a lot of time reading the posts here, and appreciating Jesus in my spare time. I've become a happier person overnight by joining a church where the main focus is Jesus. Its good to think in all the things we write, say or do.."What would Jesus Do?" Great outlook on life. The only way to go if we're to follow in His footsteps.
BTW I see some of you are in NY. I was led to God at the age of 7 by Rev. David Wilkerson and the story of Nicky Cruz. These days I get some of the Time's Square messages from the net. I'm sure you'd be familiar with his ministry. The amazin thing is he's coming to give a one off conference in Perth, Western Australia, in Oct. Just here, of all places in Australia. My mum and I are going to hear him.

Many instances...The Holy Spirit's direction, to present the gospel to an unbeliever, agreement/disagreement with what has been said/written, previously, to give personal examples and encouragement to one who seems discouraged...these are all that have come to mind. GOD bless!!!

I have to agree with SoldierofGod. We shouldn't favor one another, but i also have to admit that i do that sometimes. Someone may desperately need help so we should take time and answer others also. But you should also make sure that God is leading you to also. Love yall!!!

Well, if its something interesting that the thread is about, and I feel like putting my two cents worth in, I reply to a thread. A catchy title gets me to read the thread, then interesting information gets me to reply.

Great thread Sparky . I never really thought about it . But I responded to this thread because it was a very good question . Thanks . Mike
