We started this morning not having enough for rent on one of the houses in Kenya,
and we needed food outreach today, too. We needed about 330 dollars.
We had some of it. But we absolutely had to have the 80 dollars complete
for the house that the kids are in, plus the food outreach. I didn't want to cut it short,
as there are children with aids and we wanted to send enough.
The Lord has taught to just go to Him and ask and we did. As I have done so
many times, and the Lord is always faithful and always brings the need divinely
for so many times.
At the end of the day I checked the mail and nothing there. We know it is not people
that are our answer, but the Lord.
But I check the mail and do what we can.
But this has happened so many times.
So I drove home. A check that I had forgotten
about a couple of days ago thinking I'd already transferred it, my husband had said to
check on it. It hadn't been transferred so I did that two days ago, but it shouldn't have gone in till
tomorrow, but it posted.
My husband had a couple of dear ladies come in the shop
and bought lots of $2.00 items. Lots of days nothing much or nothing sells.
I had looked in my purse a couple of days ago thinking there was something in the pocket.
But saw nothing. But the other day when gathering the money for the food outreach
I looked in by accident and there was forty dollars I had forgotten about because of having
looked and seeing nothing. So that was set aside, with a check some dear folks had dropped
off yesterday for one hundred.
I had already borrowed my own pay, which is
what I often use for a large portion so we had no idea how any of it was coming.
And yet there was quite a bit, but simply not the whole amount in the morning and no way
we knew of for it to come, but knowing that we simply ask and the Lord cares for it always.
I have seen this many times that when the need is there the Lord brings someone along
to buy. So the two ladies bought many little items and that brought the rest of the amount
and we laid it all out this evening and counted it up and there was just enough to go send the
right amount that was needed for the food outreach and the rent for the house due and having
had to be paid by tomorrow.
By the end of the day when we counted what we had, we had with everything,
exactly what we needed and everything went out. I praise the Lord!!!
I thank Him so very much. Every praise to Him!!! We thank Him!!
