John 21:25
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
Greetings beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord in this section,
Just want to extol the Lord for what He has done recently of which I am amazed of and thankful of Him. I give Him the highest praise and glory!
Last February 9, I brought home with me some co-laborers in Christ to minister for my father's 63rd birthday and pray also for my eldest brother wedding February 14. My mother and I made an invitation to some of our relatives and the local officials in the land. But almost of them are busy so only few came. My uncle who happened to be the captain in the village and one of his officials came drunk. A discussion was opened by my uncle about God and some other isssues. While the discussion went on, the other official who is drunk also came forward and asked a prayer request for his wife who is scheduled to have dialysis 8 times due to kidney trouble. One of our co-labarorer presented Christ to him who is the only source of hope, help, and strength to those who would believe. Though he is drunk, we led him to accept the Lord Jesus Christ in his heart and prayed for his wife. Last March 24, I went home again and saw him in town waiting for his passengers. He approached me and gave thanks cause her wife is now recovering and have undergone dialysis for only two times intead of 8 times. To God be the glory!!!
On the other week after my father's birthday, a member of our church invted us to pray and minister for her whole household during her daughters' birthday. After giving some exhortations, we prayed for the family. One of her daugher was ill and asked for prayer. After the occasion, a couple who is a godparent of one of the girls want to rush home because their niece is in sickness. They are unbelievers. My co-laborer and I felt a tug in our heart to make visitation which the couple gladly accepted us. According to them, the lady was just walking in one of the old tree in their school that second Thursday of the month, then in the afternoon, became sick already. Just in four days, the lady who is about to graduate this March in High School could no longer stand and speak nor can open her eyes. Her half body was swollen and she is in pain. She was stricken by an infirmity which even the doctors cannot detect. We shared the Gospel to the couple and ten more young people in that room and let them receive the Lord Jesus Christ who is the author and giver of life. Then we prayed for the young lady. The following week we visited her and had seen inprovement in her condition. That time we brought with us our Senior Pastor's wife and prayed again. She got a gradual healing and last 3rd sunday of March, the family called us for a thanksgiving for the young lady for her graduation. Praise be to God!!!
Last Sunday of February, I was invited to exhort in one of the mission churches in the province and I exhorted about being not weary in doing good, and when opportunity knocks in to do good, don't hesitate to do it with gladness. Right after in the afternoon, i received a text message from one of my cousins who is a student indirectly asking a favor. haha.. the Word was tested immediately!!! She was favored by the school to be one of the fortunate students to have the opportunity to be employed abroad (Singapore) through On the Job Training but lack financial aid. LOL.. I don't have the capacity to help her but have the ability.. hehe
Speaking of priority, we have this aim to redeem our land this May. I'm drawn back to ask for my sister nor my brother for her favor so I let her face my sister in Hongkong. But still my sister confided in me. After some conversation, believing that God would take care of our plan, our cousin received the favor she longed. I remembered that almost three years ago, this cousin of mine stoppend her studies because her aunt withdrew her help to her and she's already in second year college that time. Considering to transfer in one of the colleges in our province is a tough one cause she has to go back first year again due to difference in curriculum. She was frustrated and discouraged that time and even became bitter to her aunt. In one of my visits at home, I went to them comforting her that time sharing that God loves her and there is hope in Him if she would only believe. I lifted her up in prayer and her desire to finish her studies. After coming that day to ask for a support, I realized the Lord has already answered my prayer to her. If God permits, she will be graduating in college next year... Praise the Lord!!! To him be the glory
Last but not the least, a thing i am sooo thankful of the Lord is my brother in middle east. I thank the Lord for enabling him to finish his three years contract in his company without getting any trouble in spite of his bad records as he say it so. Because of that, he's not sure if the company will give him another contract. He said he got a lot of absenses due to frequent illness which he's not telling to us. I pity him because during that three years, he gave it all to us leaving not much for himself and now he has to go home empty handed not knowing when he will have again good employment. The more i pity him when he said he's coughing with blood last week...
I wish him that he could establish himself after they could finish our projects at home. I cried to the Lord in his behalf that the Lord might be gracious to him. I prayed that if it still His will that he will remain, the new contract will come before his old contract expires on May and give him good health. Yesterday, my sister reported that my brother's companions in the company have already signed their new contract while he is still undecided if he would remain or not. She also said that the coughing with blood has already stopped. Amen!!! The Lord is great!!!
I leave to God and to my brother if he will return to the middle east or not. If he will return, I just claim for a health that is fit to work for him...Amen. And we're looking forward to see him May or June this year after three years of being apart from us.Halleluiah!! Praise the Lord!!!
Hmmppp.. A little bit long. But I just want reallly to glorify the Lord.
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!
God bless us all!
