I have many things going on in my life lately.
Over the years I have learned, trials come in many forms.
I have had insomina many times. This time there was no solution.
I sought the Lord many times.
I looked to doctors for help. Nothing worked and I was desperate for sleep.
I asked my friends to pray and that night I slept seven hours.
Then I went down to two hours again.
I said ok Lord what can I do only you can change this.
I thought stand On scripture Phillipians 4:6&7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.
7. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I quoted this many times a day and prayed it.
I said I can have this. I started sleeping.
Then one night at 3am I had a crank call. The person just kept mumbling in a deep voice.
Backing up for a second, I live alone. It scared me.
I unpluged my phone but I couldn't sleep.
I asked my Pastor to pray for me.
When I got off the phone and prayed the presence of the Lord was there.
I felt such peace and joy in my heart.
I knew he had never left me. It was just a trial.
God told me to fast awhile and keep stand on his word.
Since then my phone is pluged in and I'm sleeping.
I'm also watching and praying.
My God is a big God and ever so real.
I Praise His name Forever.

Yes, no matter what, praise His name forever! I understand from personal experience the sleeping difficulties. The C-PAP beginning over 20 years ago, followed by the Bi-PAP more recently, have given me more effective sleep, but the insomnia is not so easily solved. My wife knows that I will turn off the light sometimes long after she is zonked for the night, and that I will almost always be up long before the sun comes up. Fortunately, I don't have punch a time clock anywhere any more.

The Lord has taught me to use the time. When I am awake while others are usually sleeping, I spend the time reading the Bible and praying. We simply must effectively use whatever He has given us... even sleeplessness.

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." Phil 4:11

Yes I agree we
need to effectivley use what ever God has us in. I didn't write in alot of different things but I felt it might be too long.
Sorry about that. I did pray for people and read the Bible and wait on the Lord. When I got down to 2hrs of sleep
every night though I wasn't very effective. I tried but was so tired it was hard to think straight. I thank you
for your reply and your words of wisdom. I will keep you in my prayers. I am up some at night and I pray but at least I can sleep
5 or somtimes 6 hrs now. When I wake in between I pray and often fall back to sleep. God Bless You All. I appreciate all
your thoughts on this. I enjoy hearing from people.

Praise God! I just wanted to remind you that you are never alone, even though it may sometimes feel that way (Matthew 28:20). I am happy to hear your testimony.
