Hello brothers and sisters in Christ. It's great to read your posts and meditate on God's word. However, I think nothing can be compared to living conversation, when u can say smth and respond immediately and some situations are difficult to describe. So those who are able to use skype and have time for that feel free to write here your skype.
Great suggestion but this is a public forum and non-members would see that private info. If members wish to skype please share that privately and with discretion.
I've been suggesting for some time for chatroom to have voice capabilities, will ask Chad if it's possible.
Although Im an internet savvy, I resent the idea, I think the forum is just enough to make discussions or tell your feelings. Besides, its better that we can have ample time to think of what we need to say or advice to others. Words are so powerful and we gotta be careful (Proverbs 18:21), replying on threads give us time to pray before we post.
But dont get me wrong if you really prefer live conversations, its ok, we are all different. I dont sign up for skype, I think Ill only have one if I need to talk to a relative abroad! But for other reasons I prefer not to have one.
That was a very good point imagine the discourse if some were allowed to speak immediately without having time to think before they speak. That's why if we were to ever get a voice feature it would be monitored and only for those interested in leading a bible study or for leading a prayer meeting. Not for regular conversations or debates, just prayer or bible study. The material and person ( not persons, only the person leading can speak ) would need approval
Agree. And Ive seen some christian sites with live audios or vids, most of the time discussions would rear to off topics and non-Christ related, ofcourse there are moderators there too, but in live feeds what's said and done cant be undone.
