For a few weeks now I have been going to a bible group. and prior to each study, we have prayer and praise. One man has been asking continued prayer for his very sick wife who has scleroderma(spelling?).

Then last night he shared about his own health condition. His liver is pretty much shot and it has a cancerous tumor on it. and he needs a liver transplant very soon. The rest of the group new of his history, but as I am a fairly new member of the group, he didn't share until another friend brought the subject up.

He is a wonderful man, he loves the Lord and trusts in Him totally. John is his name, he visits the local prisons and ministers to the inmates and he spreads the gospel to whoever the Lord brings his way.

Please pray for this humble man John and his sick wife Judy.

Dear God this man who is spreading the gosple and makeing such an effort to bring as many to know you as he can is your child. I pray that you will touch his life and give him your healing and bless him with a long life in which he can continue to serve you . All is in your hands God and I will be beliveing that you have a plan for this man of God. In Jesus name I ask.

Dear Father in Heaven think of John and his health, Please touch his family and heal him, as he does so much for you in his life, by spreading your words, In our heavenly father AMEN!

Thank you for sharing this. I will pray for each of them. Jesus is our Power and Strength, our Healer

I pray for John and Judy, at your prayer group, Calluna.
God, please heal John from his cancerous tumour, and his wife from scleroderma.
May you lay your healing hands on them in this difficult time. Keep John strong in his faith, even when he may be in great pain because of his own illness, and his wife's.
You restore even the most hurting people, Lord!

In Christ's name, Amen

Hi all,
A praise and a prayer request. Praise first, Judy is doing so much better, she is up and about and in less pain.
A while ago, John had the cancerous lump removed and things were hopeful and he was waiting for a transplant. I just received news that the cancer has come back and has spread, the doctor told him to take a vacation now, because it doesn't look good. We are all really sad to hear this news, we are praying for him, we all really love this guy, he is something else. I have only known John for a few months but he has touched my life and heart in a very special way, and he seems to have the same effect on everyone around him.
Please pray for John and family

I'm sure that if the Lord takes John home he will be missed terribly by those that knew him and especially those that were intimate with him. I am also very sure that John will not be missing his living here. His homesickness will be satisfied.
I will keep John, Judy and all those who know them in my prayers. Thanks for keeping us updated sister.God Bless

update news

I am happy to say that John is still with us, but he is going through alot of trouble. He did not receive a transplant, due to all sorts of problems that have arisen. Anyhow this Wednesday he is having a blood transfusion and some other serious procedure, I am not sure what. It's gotten all very complicated, but I know God is in control and is taking care of things. All of us have been continuing keeping John in our prayers and continue to ask others also to pray for him and his wife Judy.

WEDNESDAY 27th fasting and prayer intercession for John's healing. Whoever feels led to join in with myself and my biblestudy group and others across the internet, I Praise God for your faithfulness and sweet hearts and I thank you in advance.

I will keep you all updated.

I will pray for John sister. Thank you for keeping us up to date. Keep your faith strong.

Brother jiggy, you said it best! His homesickness will be satisifed - same for all believers in Christ amen!

I have to share this with you. Last night I saw John at bible study group. He was so filled with the Holy Spirit. He firmly believes the Lord will heal him. I believe it in my heart also.
John had just come back from a prison ministry event, they had the prison choir singing, guest speakers, prayer and worship. It was wonderful to see the power of the Lord working in John and giving him the encouragement he so much needed. It was a spirit filled evening, we prayed, sang and worshipped our awesome God, all right in someone's living room. I love Jesus, Praise His Holy name.

Keep on praying and believing for John. In the name of Jesus, he is healed. Yes Praise God!

Update On John

Alot has happened over the past few weeks, John has been through the ringer so to speak, he was given conflicting opinions by different doctors, but finally it was confirmed that he was eligible to receive chemo.

A few weeks ago, John had his first chemotherapy session. He also has been taking alot of natural herbs and other known natural cancer fighting substances. He has adjusted his diet to a more healthier one also. And he is surrounded by prayer warriors. We have prayed over him and keep praying for him all the time. He is also keeping his faith and trusting the Lord will completely heal him.

:star: He just received his MRI results and half the cancer has gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are all rejoicing and praising our God. They have to get rid of this tumor which is right near the liver before he is able to receive a liver transplant. So it is one step at a time. He is so overjoyed at the news.
