Hi Everyone,
Are we really living in the ends of times?

Howdy godsgirl!

Yes and no. Yes, We are approaching the end of the Church Age. See Acts 15:16 and Romans 11:25. This means that Revelation 4:1 is on the horizon.

And, No, Because, Time will not end. Time as we know and understand it goes on forever because the earth stands forever because Human beings will be on this earth forever. Ecclesiastes 1:4 and Genesis 9:12. The word perpetual (KJV) literally means eternal, everlasting, and without end.

gg--Can u show me some scriptures to back up ur answers ?
Thanks
Well, There is Matthew 24:32 regarding a season of time. In other words, A Window of opportunity. Then, You have Psalm 90:10 and the point of reference of 1948.

Biblically speaking, Our time is short.

Have a nice day!

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

We are in the DAYS of sorrow ! Just before the GREAT TRIBULATION and also the start of the Great tribulation!

serious times Now! We need to be our homes in order and lives!

We are in the DAYS of sorrow ! Just before the GREAT TRIBULATION and also the start of the Great tribulation!

serious times Now! We need to be our homes in order and lives!

Howdy Folks!

Actually, in the Prophetic Picture, We are in Revelation Chapter 3. Revelation 4:1 is on the horizon. While We have this time now, Christians should be going all out in exercising the Ministry of Reconciliation as taught by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:18.

The time for the beginning of sorrows of Matthew 24:8 begins in Revelation 6:2 which is a part of the Times of the Gentiles of Luke 21:24 in Daniels 70th Week.

The Beginning of sorrows occurs under the 7th Kingdom of Revelation 17:9-11 which is the Revised Roman Empire as described by the Old Testament Prophet Daniel in Daniel Chapter 2.

Matthew 24
was spoken by Jesus Christ to a very specific audience. This specific audience was The Seed of Isaac multiplied as the stars of the Heaven.

Have a nice day!

I disagree ! The wrath of GOD starts in

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
When the seals
And its ends at chapter 11 and starts the same story told a different way at the beginning of chapter 12

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
That is Judgment day and again later on in Rev.
And we both agree there is only One judgment day!

God Always confirms His LIVING WORD At least twice

This is the judgment day again ! After 11 it is revealed in more detail and differently!

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

I disagree ! The wrath of GOD starts in

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Howdy spirit1st!

Well, I understand your disagreement. And, I disagree with you. The Wrath of God does not start in Revelation 6:1. The Bible is very specific. The Wrath of God starts in Revelation 16:1.

Revelation 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple syaing to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the lamb.

The Wrath of the Lamb begins in Revelation 6:16. The Wrath of satan begins in Revelation 12:17. The Wrath of God begins in Revelation 16:1. The Wrath of Almighty God begins in Revelation 19:15.

There are 4 distinct wraths that occur in Daniel's 70th Week. And, These 4 wraths are not the same wrath.

Spirit1st--Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
That is Judgment day and again later on in Rev.
And we both agree there is only One judgment day!

God Always confirms His LIVING WORD At least twice
And, God has confirmed 3x in Scripture that the Specific audience in Matthew 24 is the Seed of Isaac multiplied as the stars of the Heaven whom Jesus Christ spoke to. See Genesis 21:12, Romans 9:7, and Hebrews 11:18.

Have a nice day!

do we really need scripture to "see" darkness is growing on the earth? do we need to disagree/quarell about what scripture says? no. we need to stay in Christ. we need to keep the favor of God we have. we need to grow in Christ. as darkness grows, and it is a growing "trend" amoung many, God will be the only way. not that He isnt now, but life has been simple for some of us but as darkness grows it will become harder and harder. think about Lot. one man. angels came to save him and his from the wrath of The Almighty. there where few righteous in those days. and there is strength in numbers. BUT He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. the bible says not to fear man who can only kill the body but to fear God who can throw you in hell after the body is dead. my words are not to promote fear or doubt but faith and hope. even to trust in God at all times. tommorow isnt promised. the next moment isnt promised either. we will all die. but if we die let us die to Christ. who knows what the plans of The Almighty are? like the song says(shout to the Lord) nothing compares to the promises i have in you.
no matter what happens we must stay in Christ, keeping our lamps burning.

(edit part: we will all die if He dont come back first)

Sure we will see some scriptures differently! So I see revelations as the SAME story told twice! You do not! Its ok!
Praise the LORD!

do we really need scripture to "see" darkness is growing on the earth?

Howdy eddieb!

We need Scripture to help us get through the darkness that is before us. Remember, The Word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. See Psalm 119:105.

eddieb--do we need to disagree/quarell about what scripture says? no.
I agree. We do not need to argue. However, I encourage disagreement because people learn more about God and His Word when a disagreement occurs. Deep knowledge and wisdom abounds when 2 or more people get down below the "surface" of the Holy Word of God.

eddieb--we need to stay in Christ. we need to keep the favor of God we have. we need to grow in Christ.
I agree.

eddieb--as darkness grows, and it is a growing "trend" amoung many, God will be the only way. not that He isnt now, but life has been simple for some of us but as darkness grows it will become harder and harder.
Yes, Life will become harder and harder as time goes on. This is why it is vitally important to say exactly what the Bible says. Not what someone may think the Bible says.

eddieb--think about Lot. one man. angels came to save him and his from the wrath of The Almighty. there where few righteous in those days. and there is strength in numbers. BUT He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. the bible says not to fear man who can only kill the body but to fear God who can throw you in hell after the body is dead.
When someone has accepted Christ, He holds you in the palm of His Mighty Hand and no man can pluck you out of His hand. A Believer is also held in the Hand of the Father, and no man can pluck them out of the Father's Mighty Hand. See John 10:28-29.

eddieb--my words are not to promote fear or doubt but faith and hope. even to trust in God at all times. tommorow isnt promised. the next moment isnt promised either. we will all die. but if we die let us die to Christ.
As believers in Christ, This is what we are supposed to do. We are to deny ourselves. This is the hardest activity for a believer to do. Deny themselves. Then, Take up our cross, and follow Jesus Christ. See Mark 8:34.

eddieb--who knows what the plans of The Almighty are?
This one is very easy. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11. Also...

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

eddieb--like the song says(shout to the Lord) nothing compares to the promises i have in you.
no matter what happens we must stay in Christ, keeping our lamps burning.
The only way to do that is to pursue the Law of God. Psalm 119:23-24--23. Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. 24. Thy Testimonies also are my delight, and my counselors.

eddieb--(edit part: we will all die if He dont come back first)
Yes, We will. But, I believe that we are the generation of the Ekklesia that will see the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets before Daniel's 70th Week begins. See John Chapter 20.

Have a nice day!

Sure we will see some scriptures differently!

Howdy spirit1st!

I suppose that we will and I think that is very good.

spirit1st--So I see revelations as the SAME story told twice! You do not! Its ok! Praise the LORD!
Wouldn't be interesting if our math books in school were written the very same way? Think about it. We would never get to calculus because we would remain in simple addition and subtraction...twice.

The Book of Revelation is a powerful story of Prophecy coming to pass. As This Prophecy unfolds, something new happens every time and the events get worse and worse as time goes on.

The Most powerful point to remember is that 2/3s of the Nation of Israel will die during this time. 2/3s. And, This event is not repeated twice. This event only occurs once. See Zechariah 13:8-9.

Also, There are 2 Kingdoms that occur during Daniel's 70th Week. The Revised Roman Empire and the Revived Grecian Empire. You will find these Mountain Kingdoms described in Revelation 17:9-11. Each Kingdom will last 42 months each.

The Revived Grecian Empire begins in Revelation 13:1 and ends in Revelation 16:21.

Have a nice day!

The old testament was in part !The new fulfills it!
Many will not accept the truth! That my LORDS at HIS death only then became the NEW TESTAMENT , Which we are to live by!
In the old ,He was mainly dealing with them in a fleshly way! in the New ,He deals with us in a Spiritual way ,In the eternal
We are under Eternal laws now! Laws which will never be changed!

Much different way of life!
LOVE and Faith!

These are interesting days. It is a privilege to live here now and serve the Lord as we see so much of His Word coming to pass.:shade:

The old testament was in part !The new fulfills it!

Howdy spirit1st!

Actually, The Old Testament is complete. The Complete Law of God. I like to say this...The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed. The New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.

When you Study the Old Testament, You will understand the New Testament.

Spirit--Many will not accept the truth!
This is a true statement and I agree with you. Even Some Christians today do not accept the Truth of God's Holy Word. I am not trying to be mean here, but, this is a statement of fact.

spirit--That my LORDS at HIS death only then became the NEW TESTAMENT , Which we are to live by!
Yes, We are to live by the New Testament teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul. I study the Law of God of the Old Testament to gain the Wisdom of God. See Psalm 19:7. The Testimonies of the Lord are sure, making wise the simple.

spirit--In the old ,He was mainly dealing with them in a fleshly way! in the New ,He deals with us in a Spiritual way ,In the eternal
We are under Eternal laws now! Laws which will never be changed!
I agree. The Law of God of the Old Testament is the very same Law of God that will never change. The Law of the Old Testament will be the Law that is enforce during Christ's 1000 year Earthly Reign.

Under the Old Testament, for an example, There are 42 Laws of God that carry the death penalty. During Christ's 1000 year Reign here on this earth, These 42 Laws will be enforced.

The Law of Moses will be enforce during the Tribulation period which include these 42 Laws of God that carry the death penalty. Aren't you thankful that we are in the Age of Grace?

spirit--Much different way of life!
LOVE and Faith!
Oh I agree with you here. But, When we get to the Millennial Reign of Christ, We will see a much different picture than what we see now. An example of these 42 Laws of God that carry the death penalty during Christ's 1000 year Reign here on this earth...

Law #32--Failure to keep the passover. Numbers 9:13--But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the Lord in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

Forbeareth means to cease or ceases. Any man who is not in a journey who ceases to keep the Passover during Christ's 1000 year Earthly Reign will die.

Have a nice day!

Howdy spirit1st!

I wanted to come back to this part of your post and show you something. You say that there is only one Judgment day. I disagree with you. There are several Judgments that take place during End Time Bible Prophecy.

For an example of an earlier Judgment day, See Matthew 27:52-53. The selected Saints that were resurrected after Christ rose from the dead have been taken to Heaven and received their reward. See John 20:17 and Ephesians 4:8. This Judgment took place in Heaven.

The Scripture you posted above is the Judgment The Apostle John saw on the Isle of Patmos.

This Judgment of Revelation 11:18 is the Judgment Seat of Christ, see 2 Corinthians 5:10 and Romans 14:10, for all believers in Christ described by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15.

This Judgment takes place in Heaven at about the Midpoint of Daniel's 70th Week. The 2 Witnesses of Revelation 11:3-4 are included in this Judgment because they are raptured into Heaven to be part of this Judgment. See Revelation 11:11-12.

2 1/2 years later, The Marriage of the Lamb takes place in Heaven. See Revelation 19:1-9.

After the Tribulation period is complete and after the fulfillment of the Feast of the Great Day of Atonement, Christ will Judge the Nations. See Matthew 25:31-46. This Judgment of the Nations takes place on this earth.

There are 2 more judgments that will take place after the Judgment of the Nations. The Judgment of Christ during His 1000 Year Reign here on this earth. Men will be judged for breaking the Law of Moses and the Laws of God that are broken that carry the death penalty, These men and women will die.

There is the final Judgment of the Dead who are not in Christ that is described in Revelation 20:11-15. This Judgment is known as the Great White Throne of Judgment.

Have a nice day!

We are never judged in our spiririt

I been DEAD a sinner and I been dead a child of GOD 1 WE go to be with the lORD soon quick when our bodies die! Ie our NATURAL Place to be with HIm. WE are All out of place here !
We are Never judged! Only our works are judged!

Our Spirit cannot sin , So it cannot be judged!

Howdy Spirit1st!

As a child of God, You have been quickened back to life. See Ephesians 2:1, Ephesians 2:5, and 1 Peter 3:18. You are no longer dead but you have been quickened by the Spirit.

This is why it is so important to teach exactly what the Bible says. From 2 Corinthians 5:10...

10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

All of us are spirit beings clothed in flesh. The deeds we do in the body will be judged. No one will escape this judgment. No one!

Secondly, Every idle word will be judged spoken in the body. From Matthew 12:36-37...

36. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

This is another reason to teach exactly what the Bible says because if someone does not, The words they speak or write that are contrary to the Holy Word of God will condemn them on their Judgment Day when they stand before Jesus Christ. They will suffer great loss.

Have a nice day!

Here are some Scriptures that point to the Last Days:

(1) Matthew 24:6, 7; Revelation 6:4
Unprecedented warfare (In the "State of the World 1999"[Worldwatch Institute], it said that :"Three times as many people fell victim to war in [the 20th] century as in all the wars from the first century AD to 1899,” )

(2) Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8
Great earthquakes
Food shortages

(3) Luke 21:11; Revelation 6:8
Pestilences (A common estimate of worldwide deaths from the Spanish Influenza of 1918-19 was 21 million, but some experts now judge that figure to be low. Some epidemiologists today suggest that a more likely toll is 50 million deaths or perhaps as many as 100 million , with only the island of St. Helena escaping)

(4) Matthew 24:12
Increasing lawlessness
Love cooling off

(5) Revelation 11:18
Ruining of the earth

(6) 2 Timothy 3:2
Inordinate love of money
Disobedience to parents
An excessive love of self

(7) 2 Timothy 3:3
A lack of natural affection
People not open to any agreement
Self-control lacking at all levels of society
Widespread loss of love of goodness

(8) 2 Timothy 3:4
Loving pleasures more than God

(9) 2 Timothy 3:5
Many hypocritically claiming to be Christian

(10) Matthew 24:5; Mark 13:6
Many false prophets active

(11) Matthew 24:9; Luke 21:12
Persecution of true Christians

(12) Matthew 24:39
People taking no note of Biblical warnings
