Looking for help with a book I am writing

I just joined today and I have been looking around on this site and I have to say God is doing some awsome stuff here so I thought I would submit this and see what He does.

I will be soon starting a ministry where I will be going from church to church presenting a study series during a 2 day seminar. I have taught the series several times now and will be traveling to Florida to teach it again next month. We will eventually have the study on DVD so that people who want a copy can get it to study at home. The DVD will take some time for us to finish shooting and editing so until it is done (probably about six months or so) I am in the process of writing a book so that attendees can get into a more indepth study of what I am teaching.

So now that I have said all of that, I currently have about 30 people here at my church and in my community that have agreed to read the book and give me feedback. I am looking for some people that I do not know to read it and give me feed back because I want to make sure I get brutal honesty.

Basically, I want to accomplish several things with this book.
1) I want to make it so easy to understand that an unbeliever or a baby Christian can understand it.

2) I also want it to be challenging for veteran Christians.

3) I want to be able to produce the book as inexpensively as possible, which at the seminars I will sell at cost and it will also be able to be downloaded from our website for free in PDF format. Does anyone have ideas for producing books inexpensively? I also don't want to purchase a ton of copies up front.

THE BOOK
Initially, we focus in on the life of Abraham. We walk with Abraham as he travels from Ur to Haran and then into the Promised Land. We will look at the promises of the Abrahamic covenant, then the ratification of it. Then watch as God confirms the covenant to Isaac, Jacob and his descendants.

The next portion of our study focuses on three covenants that amplify the Abrahamic covenant – the Palestinian which amplifies the land promise, the Davidic amplifying the seed promise, and finally the New Covenant which amplifies the blessing promise. The study will cover such things as why doesn’t Israel occupy all the land God gave them? How is Israel disobedient at this point and what do they need to do to be obedient? Who was Jesus and what credentials did He have that made Him the Messiah? What is the New Covenant and how do we as gentiles fit into the equation?

The book will also have several studies in the back that are not presented at the seminar. These will be an advanced study.

If you are interested in reading the book and giving your feedback please let me know. Also I need to know your bible knowledge level. The book will be about 100-150 pages, I think. I am only on my third chapter right now. I write about a chapter every two or three days. Thank you for all who respond.

I am very interested in reading your book and have all ready read several others books concerning the different convenants and I promise that I will be very upfront and outright honest with you.

On publishing a book inexpensively, I suggest you try to contact some successful Christian authors such as Joyce Meyer, Dr James Dobson, Stephen Arterburn, Dr. Henry Cloud and ask their advice.

One is Proverbs 27:2, Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. The other is John 15:5, I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Thank you everyone for responding. Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner, I have been out of town. That is a great idea SpiritLedEd. It is kind of funny because I am so tied up with trying to get this stuff finished up and no one on my team has come up with that. I have a couple of friends that are pastors in Florida who have authored books so I will call them and see if they can help. The book was kind of a last minute thing so we are running around trying to get it all wrapped up.

jiggyfly and christserf thank you for offering to help read the book. I am finishing up the third chapter and my hope is to have it finished by the end of this month. I am leaving for vacation on Sept 15th for 10 days and my goal is to have it finished by then. All of the book is laid out with notes and scriptures, I just have to go through and put it all into readable paragraphs. Thanks again and I will be in touch in a couple of weeks.
