Do You Believe In It?
I don’t know how many people believe in this statement; from experience only, the first time I saw my wife to be was when I was quite young. We were out at a nightclub and as I entered the hall I saw her straight away and I did not hesitate to introduce myself. She is even more beautiful today than 28 years ago when we met.
I can only add that it was God’s will for our lives to be harmonious and fall in love. It is our 24th wedding anniversary this month and every moment I think of my wife I feel blessed that she would pick me to be her mate for life.
There have been rough times as all marriages do from time to time and we both agree it was the vows we held together endorsed by God to be over our lives that we survived the tough times.
I pray for young parents who are going through tough times that they may hear the voice of God speaking to them that it is not over yet. God would fight tooth and nail for your marriage to be strong. Too many families are being broken apart due to them thinking it is too hard, even when children are in the picture.
I came from a broken home. Maybe that could be part of why resilience has been the key in our marriage. Even being diagnosed Bi-Polar she has stood by my side.
I know I am rambling but just want to encourage young couples who may be experiencing difficult times to be strong together and love each other. You can’t change anyone but yourself.
May God Richly bless the young people who are married that they grow stronger and stronger in their love for each other. Bless You Lord for giving us the strength to fight the odds.
