Hello guys and gals, I can't tell you the day I was saved but I do believe Jesus died for my sins. I also believe my lack of desires to do things I once did is due to convictions and my desire to be less of a sinner.

I'm 50 years old and happily married but often find myself unfulfilled by worldly things.

I've been part of car/truck forums and gun forums for years and feel like I'd like to put more effort into my much more needed Christian walk.

Welcome brother. I think all mankind is in the same boat, whether they care to admit it. At one time,i will put it that way.
I have no idea of the year month or day i finally gave in. Like a lot,who may be ashamed to admit it,i thought i was saved multiple times, which is impossible of course. But one day,i dont remember when,i decided that all those other times were, just hoping. I still did the same sins and added some. Then one day it all changed. I realize im rambling. But welcome. And God love ya.

Greetings @rybern

God is faithful,
remember that.
and remember it some more... until you realise that you are remembering Him. All else falls into place from there as we become transformed by the renewing of our minds.

By His Grace

Bless you ....><>

'Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct thy paths.'
(Pro 3:5-6)

Hi @rybern,

Praise God! For the evidence of His work proceeding in your life. He will lead you and direct you in the way that you shall go, He will guide you with His eye. Just continue to read the Scriptures and give thanks in all things.

Within the love of Christ our Saviour,
our Lord and Head.
Chris
