Making some slow progress

I've been making slow progress toward an escape from an abusive relationship. Over the past few days I've managed to sneak and hide away almost half of what I need to afford bus fare for myself and my daughter to escape. It isn't a lot and it's been a little scary to try and keep this secret, considering getting caught would be a worse case scenario situation, but I've managed. I'm hoping I'll be able to lie low and get the rest together and then be out of here as soon as possible. Please keep us in your prayers, we need them so much right, I truly believe they're helping keep us safe! Hopefully we won't be in this situation for much longer.

I do need His help daily in not caving in to the oppression I am under as I am annoyed & upset on how all things do not work to my good but for ripping me off.

1 Thessalonians 4:6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

I know God will have vengeance on those people unless they repent before the Bridegroom comes, but I am called to suffer being defrauded and trust in God to take care of me anyway & forgive them for they know not what they do.

1 Corinthians 6:6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? 8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

1 Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The example Jesus has set below in forgiving others when they were not even asking for it nor repenting of it at that time;

Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

So I need His help daily to forgive my enemies for having taken away my life.

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

It is humiliating to be fretting when He says not to worry nor fret because of evil doers Psalm 37 but Jesus is helping me while I just wish I would stop being upset by these provocative events occasionally & accept that I shall be defrauded again but the Lord will still take care of me as He has before. Being under constant oppression by my enemies does not help either for why those occasional events of defrauding and mischiefs offends me all the more.

Luke 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

It seems I get so mad at myself for being so stupid and how things work towards that end in provoking me that I need His help to raise my head above the storms of my life to be willing to let go, forgive, and trust in the Lord regardless.

I really wish He would take me Home, but nevertheless the Father's will be done and not mine. Walking each day with the Lord through this valley of death is an experience that I can see His workings in my life, certainly my need of Him to be working in my life, to give Him all the praise & glory in bringing me Home as a vessel unto honor in His House in attending the Marriage Supper in Heaven to His glory as the crowns I receive are His crowning achievements in me..

May God continue to be my defense against the storms in my life and keeping me to abide in His words in being fruitful daily as His disciple with my eyes on the Son of God since He will be coming soon as the Bridegroom.

Dear Brother,
My heart & prayers go out to you in the trial you are undergoing. It's difficult, if not near impossible to take what one clearly sees as being a wrong being perpetrated especially if it is against oneself! There is a fine line between allowing oneself to be in your case defrauded and allowing a transgression/sin to continue uncontested as well. You must know that you are not alone in this! Our Lord sees, understands, and will not be denied.

(15) "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. (16) "But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.' (17) "And if he refuses to hear them, tell [it] to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. (18) "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (19) "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. (20) "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." Matthew 18:15-20 NKJV

There is much Scripture that goes both ways and can truly set ourselves unto the path of martyrdom. There is a brother here on TJ, who has said, "I don't want to be no martyr". In truth I believe nobody wants to be one, though eventually one very well may become one for the path God has chosen for us to walk we follow.

I provide the other side not as a temptation though it may very well be, but to show the flip side of the same coin which in truth to me speaks of sin in the interaction of humanity even amongst themselves as almost common place occurrence. They will eat their own! However, we are not common, though the material we are made of may very well be. We are Children of the Most High, King of kings, Lord of lords and belong to the Creator of the Universe! We represent not only His earthly Ministry, but who He is now!

I state this because the word you have used "defrauded" speaks to robbery, illegally taken from one by deception. Though you might very well eventually have gain from accepting such loss, but will they? The gain being God's Saving Grace through Jesus Christ, all the while they are they being tainted in their misguided desire for earthly gain that blinds them to the greatest gift that very will may be lost to them entirely because of what they are doing?

I'm sure you have been praying to God, but I pray with you also that you may receive guidance on the path He wants you to walk. It's not about the monetary gain/loss, though who knows how many poor you could help if not for the losses, but rather the souls involved in helping them rise above the sin that money can affect negatively in the untethered sinful man. Not realizing that as our Lord said: "For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:30) That Freedom is found in Him, and only Him! How blind they must be in not knowing this! :(

It is not for me to say what path you should walk, but know that God will guide you in the one He wants you to travel. Whether it's to the right or left, know that others have traveled it before, and that you won't travel it alone brother!

Indeed, Jesus seems to suggest not resisting evil at all, but give more at my own expense.

And yet I am to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ that He will still take care of me even if I get homeless and unable to pay for maintaining my health or pay for my own funeral expenses. Signs of the times.

Reads like a prophesy in these end times we are living in before the Bridegroom comes.

I am not in danger of being homeless but identity theft is very possible. I have been exposed for a very long time, being defrauded here & there, so I should not be surprised when it hits me hard. The Lord is helping me to trust in Him in spite of it. May God forgive them for they know not what they do... and some of them are Christians too, but the Lord is my stay. Why fight for my life which is temporary & utter vanity when I want to leave it? Why allow the devil to get n hold on my anger and letting the sun go down on it? But with His help, I shall wait on Him in hope for my deliverance because this life down here is not forever so why love it, why fret it, and why seek vengeance in it?

Thank you for your prayers. May the Father's will be done and may Jesus Christ be glorified in me in helping me walk through this valley of death with the faith in Him that shines of God working in my life to fear no evil for He is with me. I trust in Him to finish His work in me to His glory. I certainly will be thankful and praising Him in Heaven when He delivers me soon, either by death or the rapture. May God deliver some of my enemies from their sins before He comes too.
