Many walk around and cheer, for what they think Jesus has done for them, But what did you do to Jesus!

Have we turn our backs, on Him, Have we ignored His words, have we counted His commands as unHoly persuasions, and His truths distasteful and we refused to sit at His table and look into His face. Have you looked in the Cup He drunk from. Have you felt the pain, have you observed the "Via Delarosa" have you refused to gaze into His eyes, and wondered why was it necessary to take this path. What have you done with Jesus, have you turn your back on Him? and refuse to walk the path but have chosen your own way and refused to deny yourself.
(Hebrews 10).
"First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy".

[Those who are being made Holy, and the others are not]

Well, I hope that those who drink of that cup will be able to endure it. As far as I can tell, it really isn't meant for everyone, just as not everyone is qualified to be a disciple (I mean, come on, who can really love their mother and father and be a disciple?) ;)

[Those who are being made Holy, and the others are not]

I suppose the scripture for this would be 'For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'

Friends,
if you know you are good and loving, do not second guess yourselves. believe in the goodness that is in you, and do not suffer like I did, but believe in the goodness in you.

We all have a ministry

I remember a night I spent some time praying for the people who would be taking a leading role in the worship at church today. I prayed for the musicians, the worship leader and whoever would be preaching. I asked God to let his Holy Spirit fill them and guide them in all aspects of their ministry so that they would bring his word to us and be a blessing to us all.

As I was praying I started to realize that although I’m not called by God to preach or lead worship I am called to do something else; and even though it might be a something else that seems insignificant and unimportant to my eyes, in God’s scheme of things it is just as relevant as those other high profile, front of house ministries. And just as they need the infilling of the Holy Spirit to help them to lead worship or preach I too need that same source of enabling to do the small tasks he requires of me.

Last week after the meeting a lady who doesn’t normally come to our church asked me if the person who had preached was ‘one of the top ones’ and I was able to tell her in all honesty that there are no ‘top ones’ in our church, nobody is more important than anybody else but that we all have a part to play in the life of the church as God gives us the gifting. Whether it is preaching or cleaning the loos we will do it better if we do it with the Holy Spirit inside us.

Another top job is talking to a: 'lady who doesn’t normally come to our church', for me it's one of the most important jobs, extending a welcome. Another top job is striking up a friendship. Church is so much more than you go in, hymn, sermon, hymn and then out. I went to a church once, the service was lovely but the congregation were as cold as ice.

Happy Easter :kissing_heart:

The point of my post was that there shouldn't be any 'top jobs' as we are all supposed to serve the Lord in the various ways he equips us. Some clean loos, some make the brews and some spread the good news; but we are all serving.

[Mark 10]NASB copyright 1977
"And James and John, the two sons of Zebedee, came up to Him, saying to Him, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask of You.” And He said to them, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And they said to Him, “Grant that we may sit in Your glory, one on Your right, and one on Your left.” But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking for. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?” And they said to Him, “We are able.” And Jesus said to them, “The cup that I drink you shall drink; and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized. “But to sit on My right or on My left, this is not Mine to give; but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.” And hearing this, the ten began to feel indignant with James and John. And calling them to Himself, Jesus said to them, “You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great men exercise authority over them. “BUT" it is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be s SLAVE of all. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

For many have ignored the very words of GOD, and has establish their own institution of teaching for the doctrine, the doctrines of men as if it were the doctrine of GOD. For this is the work of cunning men, where they distort the Living Truth to feed itching ears that lone's to be tingle and scratch for which is their earnest desire. And by ignoring GODs WORD, Some of These Institutions has dis honor, "The Almighty GOD" by their actions. And this "apostasy" is displayed through out the whole world, For their ignorance of this Truth it has Blinded their eyes that they cannot behold the corruption in their hypocrisy.

If you want to do great things for GOD, I am sorry you have "miss the mark" and fail into error. If you think GOD has called you to be a servant or slave to your physical church, i am sorry you are in error, and have "miss the Mark".:eyes: For that is not the "Cup" you are suppose to drink. The cup you must drink from is a bitter cup, the one you do not want to drink from. Is surrounded by "bitter"herbs. In your home on the job, in your marriage, in your bedroom, denying yourself,
We use to say "love begins at home and then spreads abroad", in your home you are supposed Love, when they do not love you! How dare you child of GOD seek counsel from others about your spouses when You have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! Somebody is a liar and the Truth of God is Not in them!

You need to Repent! How dare you call the Holy Spirit of God a ineffective power and not to be trusted, The Advocate, The Paraclete of The Living GOD! By deny its Power and its Ministry, and the one who sent Him , by seeking the unGodly Counsel of Men and women, that they may fuel your desired sins. Shame on you!

"God will not be Mock"!

(John 14) NSAB copyright 1977
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. “After a little while the world will behold Me no more; but you will behold Me; because I live, you shall live also. “In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. “He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him. “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.,,ff"

For the Father does not Love everyBody, so says Jesus Christ! I did not say it. Now Is Jesus a liar? That is a yes or no question. Let your 'Yay be Yay and Your Nay be nay.'

God does not Love everybody! If He does, Jesus is a Liar and the truth is not in Him, because Jesus said so. And I am a Believer in the words proclaim By Jesus Christ our Lord And Savior. And this is Not a Paradox in relating to other portions of The "Holy Scripture".

He has Risen! He wakes up the Dead! are you woke yet?:)

We must seem harsh at times, But some we must:

NET Bible
save others by snatching them out of the fire; have mercy on others, coupled with a fear of God, hating even the clothes stained by the flesh.
New Heart English Bible
and some save, snatching them out of the fire, and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.
Weymouth New Testament
others you must try to save, as brands plucked from the flames; and on others look with pity mingled with fear, while you hate every trace of their sin.

Amos 4:11
"Some of you I overthrew as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand snatched from a blaze, yet you did not return to Me," declares the LORD.
Zechariah 3:2
And the LORD said to Satan: "The LORD rebukes you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you! Is not this man a firebrand snatched from the fire?"

2 Corinthians 5:11
Therefore, since we know what it means to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is clear to God, and I hope it is clear to your conscience as well.
2 Corinthians 7:10-12
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death…

[Many of us are skill craftsman in relating to the word of GOD. "Behold I will make you fishermen of men". skilled.]
(Psalms 45).
"My heart is gushing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer."

(Isaiah 49)BSB
"He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His hand. He made Me like a polished arrow; He hid Me in His quiver. He said to Me, “You are My Servant, Israel, in whom I will display My glory.”…

New Living Translation(Psalms 49).
He made my words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. I am like a sharp arrow in his quiver.
(Psalms 17}
Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.…

Jesus is looking for people who love him, he is not looking for scholars, some people love the bible, but do they Love Jesus??? if we love Jesus we will obey him, and our love for others will shine.

If we have no love for others we can not love Jesus, for Jesus say to love our neighbor as our-self.

I think there are a lot of scholars that we are going to be surprised about when it all said and done.

Yes, doubt can be a very bad enemy. I need reminding almost daily of who i am and my long arduous journey in christ.

Moses was a "scholar, Paul was a Scholar, Polycarp, was a Scholar, Augustine was a Scholar, William Tyndale was a scholar, Luther was a scholar. How long have you been "carnal" and yet worldly. When did Jesus ever had to look for anybody. He is the Creator of all things through His Father. the Sons of God by their nature Loves the WORD of GOD without effort. It is natural. Just like a person walks down the street. Others try but they will fail, because they are not planted in good soil.

Why would that even interest you, wondering whether if I love Jesus or not? That has nothing to to with my salvation or yours, I think the "holy Scriptures" address believers in Christ. to "work out their own salvation!:eyes:
(Php. 2).
"So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure."

You should not be worry about me. you have it backwards! The Word of God Told YOU:
(2 Cor.13:5)
"Examine yourselves to see whether YOU ARE in the faith; test yourselves"

New American Standard Bible
and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we instructed you,

Ah yes but do ALL scholars love Jesus?

Ah yes but do ALL scholars love Jesus?
How would I know, I don't even know, whether you love Jesus or not, for you can tell me anything. For the Bible says:
(Romans)BSB
"What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Certainly not! Let God be TRUE and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that You may be proved right when You speak and victorious when You judge.” But if our unrighteousness highlights the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unjust to inflict His wrath on us? I am speaking in human terms.…"

And may I say this, concerning my own self. Do I love God as I should according to the "WORDS of GOD", " I honestly will say, 'i think not' , and totally I speak this Truth 'broken and in humility' for in this brokenness I am. But in this Humility I can feel the love of His blessed "Holy Spirit" flowing in my Heart [spirit] in which i cannot deny. and For this truth I cannot deny, 'that He promise to never leave me alone' and His Truth has been 'justified' sealed and manifested for He did get up , for death could not hold him, for He has declared that same "Power" that raised Him from the grave, is the same "Spirit" that resides in me and will also raised me and change me for ever more throughout eternity. Glorified, change that the whole Cosmos will behold, a type of Love that has never been or ever will be, a Love, a created being may behold, even after a Billion years we will still be "the Manifestation of The Glory of GOD".:pensive: Our Brightness and Brilliance shall be forevermore, and more Brilliant than the moment before. How can you love a GOD like that, unless you have help.:relieved:

"This Love I have, the world didn't give it to me and the world can't take it away"

Why would that even interest you, wondering whether if I love Jesus or not? That has nothing to to with my salvation or yours, I think the "holy Scriptures" address believers in Christ. to "work out their own salvation!:eyes:

Matthew 22:37-39
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yoursel

Matthew 22:37-39
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yoursel
How was that possible for those whom He was addressing, since they all had wicked hearts?

How was that possible for those whom He was addressing, since they all had wicked hearts?

Ezekiel 11:19
And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,

Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Ezekiel 11:19
And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,

Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
When Jesus spoke to them in the Gospels that you are referring to, none of them had the "Holy Spirit" in them. They still had a evil Heart! The Holy Spirit did not come to the day of Pentecost. Jesus had to died first and second raise from the dead, third to return to Heaven, 4th he had to send the Holy Spirit down from Heaven.

So how in the world can anybody read the Bible and come to the conclusion you are coming too! It is impossible for any of them to have a change heart without being Born again!. Like I have said "The Christians of this era have Become full pledge "Pelagians" they have move from "Semi-Pelagianism" to full blowed "Pelagianism" in their christian thinking. And they are proud of it! Shame on you who have fallen into this state of believeth. Referring to a people who have not yet the Spirit of God in them. To proclaim a person has a pure heart without becoming a new creature in Christ Jesus, without the aid of the "Spirit of the Living GOD! Spreading this message throughout The world. To men women and Children!

The Gospels is a Historical record of Jesus walking in the Old Testament Era, which is under the Old Covenant" for a New Covenant had not existed yet until He died and Rose from the Grave. and there was no written New Covenant until about 25 to 60 years after had been dead and gone back to Heaven!

This Prophecy is true and have come to pass, and swallowed us up "The Great Falling away" from the WORD of GOD by Christians! Who have failed in Proclaiming The Unadulterated Truth. And Now many teach for Truth the Doctrines of Lies mingle with the Truth. And Parading it around as a banner of Love.

And they fire great guns of big bore at those who "contend for the faith that was once deliver to The Saints.

Just because one might have all the pieces of a puzzle, but if that person cannot work the puzzle, How can another perceive the picture.

All the pieces must be in the right places. Before it is revealed.

The Holy Spirit is also a "Reminder" (2 Tim. 2)KJV
"Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
(John 14)BSB
All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. BUT the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of evrything I have told you."

Everyone heart is wicked until they "become "Born again" they must become a New Creature! Why?

Answer: (Jeremiah 17)
Literal Standard Version
The heart [is] deceitful above all things, "" And it [is] incurable—who knows it?
NET Bible
The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it?

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"
Mark 7:21
For from within the hearts of men come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery,

Those in the New Covenant writings whom Jesus was speaking too, their hearts had not been change.:eyes: There was not one "pure heart" among them! Not even His mothers heart was pure, according to the Bible. Not until the day of Pentecost.

So I guess many of Christians think they have a "Pure heart" right now at this moment. Now is that a trick question? Nope.:worried:
