Greetings brothers and sisters

I read an article that suggested that most Christian females are vegetarian
And that most Christian men are not vegetarian

I would say that most Christians that I know are not vegetarians (here in Australia)

So just for fun........

What do you eat?

Meat
Vegetarian
Dairy
Anything and everything

Just to give my answer:
As a family we are blessed with an abundant supply of daily food and provisions and praise the Lord for His goodness in providing for all our needs.
We eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and a little meat and fish.

Heb 5:12; For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13; For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14; But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Gen 25:28' And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Matt 15:36; and He took the seven loaves and the fish; and giving thanks, He broke them and started giving them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

Luke 15:23; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate;

The passover feast was traditionally lamb.
Exod 12:3; Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
Exod 12:4; And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
Exod 12:5; Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exod 12:11; And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.

Luke 22:8; And Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it."
It appears Jesus wasn't a vegetarian.

John 21:10; Jesus *said to them, "Bring some of the fish which you have now caught."

1 Cor 10:31; Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Thanks for those verses @B-A-C

How blessed we are.
And how thankful we should be to the Lord for providing us with such an abundance of food provisions, especially in the developed world where we have so much choice.

It puts me to shame when I see the mountains of waste.....when the undeveloped world is desparately crying out for the bare essentials

If the study grouped all denominations then Seven Day Adventist members increase the vegetarian head count. Also if a person was Hindu or Buddhist the vegetarian lifestyle may remain with them.

As for me, I eat both.

I eat lot's and lots of meat. I try to keep the amount of swine I eat fairly low though.

I could probably do alright as a carnivore honestly. Nom nom.

I'm a fan of everything healthy.

1. Lean meat (red meat with fat cut out, chicken)
2. Fish (Salmon my fav and wild caught not farm raised)
3. Organic fruits, vegetables
4. Eggs (organic), grass fed milk and soy milk

Not a fan of pork myself, just not appealing to me especially high sodium.

Ahh I forgotten about this thread

I do hope there are more responses - it is very interesting :)

A few months ago we resolved to go onto a non-processed diet
Its a bit more time consuming but so much healthier
It has also meant we eat a lot more fresh fruit and vegetables with only lean fresh meat.

I eat every thing, but I do like a "veggie" burger every once in a while.

Would you be surprised if I said Fish ? ;)
I like a variety of things and I think fish and chicken would be my favorite meat with steak and a burger in there too. I do like those veggie burgers. Vegetables galore and potatoes and rice and like beans but they do not always like me these days.

Hummmmmmm..........meat, mushrooms, meat, potatoes, meat, poultry, meat, fish, meat, PIZZA!!!! oh yeah the occasional veggie which my loving wife makes me eat. :)

I honestly believe that what we will be eating from the tree of life will taste like the best Pepperoni Pizza with extra cheese ever made, Sicilian style of cause which is where this little bakery in Bklyn got there idea from (Heaven)! ;)

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Hmmm...seems that I am the only vegetarian here. yum! Carrots and spinach and red peppers! I like an occasional egg or cheese, but love peanut butter! Beans are ok, but peas are awesome. Summer means watermelon and grilled corn...life is good! No, weight is not a problem, and neither are there any worries about cholesterol.

Sounds like a yummy healthy diet @mecco

Almost anything that doesn't fall into the forbidden unclean categories listed in Leviticus.
