Let me start this by saying I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me through the years, You see, Jesus died a horrible death in my place for all my sins, but Thank God he was raised from the dead on the third day and lives even today taking up for me to the Father. I confess to you all that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I love Him very much.
Now I would like to let you know just one of the wonderful things that God has done for me. I was a smoker for about 37 or 38 years, smoking two to three packs a day every day (you can say I was hooked), well one night at work I was smoking and my upper chest and throat started hurting and I took a look at what was in my hand and asked myself, what are you doing? I then started praying and asking God to help me quit, I did try to stop until I came to realize I could not do it by myself! I started asking God to take this awful habit away from me. I prayed every day for some time and then one night when I was off, my wife and I were sitting in the kitchen on this night and I made a comment that I was going to see just how long I could go the next day without lighting up. Would you believe that the next morning I woke up like I normally do, went to the kitchen as usual and got a cup of coffee, sitting down to drink it and NOT!! lighting up that horrible ciggirette. To this day I have not smoked again and it's been over six or seven years. And would you believe I never went through any with drawels, climed walls, had fits or anything it's as if I have never smoked at all.
I keep hearing about all these stop smoking gimmicks on the market and just laugh, there is only one real and true way to get off any of these horrible habits and thats through the Lord Jesus Christ and his wonderful healing powers. Did you know that Jesus Christ is the only Great Doctor, AMEN and Praise God for my healing.
