Greetings to everyone.

I'm a little unsure of myself here since I'm really a bit shakey on Christianity other than from my school years. I've devoted most of my many years to science, but have recently come to sense the beauty in it more than the equations - I hope you know what I mean.

In fact everywhere I look I see magnificent beauty and this produces an odd feeling in me. I sense there's something there but have no idea what. It's like a feeling of anticipation.

Sorry for rambling on my first post !

Hi Mary-Louise, Welcome to talkjesus.
I'm glad you found us and this site. If you have any questions or any observations you uould like to share please do so. We all at one time did not believe in God or Jesus so please do not feel intimidated.

Welcome Mary

I dare say that many that work in science have the same feelings you do but many fear ridicule from their piers and choose to be quiet or ignore their gut feeling.

Good to see you are a person of courage :thumbs_up

PS i like your rambling.

Hope you feel right at home and be a blessing to us all. also, about rambling, we all do it. some more than others, and i sometimes feel like i'm just rambling so like Adstar said, i like your rambling, your words do mean something, they aren't just nothing. God bless you,
your sis, Tanya

Hello Mary-Louise,

I can fully understand what you are experiencing. I too, spent the first part of my life in the pursuit of science and logic. I would love to tell you what I discovered on my journey. I will be happy to discuss and converse about any subject, either scientific or theological with you. This does not mean that I know anything, but I am a willing learner and a listener. We learn so much from each other, and should be open to these lessons. I look forward to more post from you and an opportunity to chat with you in the Bible Cafe.

God Bless

Hello Mary Louise God bless you and thank you for joining us!

Hope you take a moment to read the Evidence of Jesus Christ forum

Welcome, ML! I am new here, too, and love it. There are great Christians ready to embrace you and support you here. I love love love science, also, but on a simple level. I love astrology and animal science, biology those kind of things. I tell my children that things like stars being born, fish like the deep sea angler fish and the way our bodies heal themselves are all proof of God's existence. All small things of science are really mini miracles, you just have to look with the right eyes! God Bless you and a heartfelt welcome!!

Wow ! Thanks so much for all your kind words. For now I'm doing a lot of reading here, getting to know my way around. Thanks again, it warms the heart :-)
