Please pray for Denise.

She is a young mother who's only child (3 yrs old) drowned after falling into a neighbors pool yesterday morning. When Denise found her little boy Anthony in the pool, she suffered a heart attack on the scene, and is now hospitalized. Denise is divorced and so is even more so alone without that support. When she was young, she had a brother named Anthony, whom she named her son after, who also drowned, which makes this an even harder tragedy for her.

Denise's little boy was always a very hyperactive child, and so she had actually had to build special barricades on his bedroom door to keep him from wandering out after he was in bed for the night, and she was asleep. It was early morning while Denise was still asleep when Anthony had somehow gotten past the safety gate and wandered to the neighbors pool. The neighbors also had a regulation 4ft fence with locked gate around their pool ( to prevent such incidences), but this little boy somehow managed to get past this as well. The neighbors are now grief-struck as well. Please pray for this family also. Thank you

This was on the cover of Newsday today in NY. Its truly sad, and to have a younger brother who died the same way AND for her to have a heart attack at the scene is really seriously tragic indeed. Jesus can still heal, can still provide peace through the Holy Spirit over any circumstance, but healing takes time.

I think we really should pray for this young lady, Denise.

God bless

That is really sad. I'll be sure to pray for Denise and her family. This reminds me of the verse about David and his son. Denise will meet up with her son again in heaven.

2 Samuel 12:23
"But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." KJV

Father it is so sad to hear of such tragic circumstances like this and my heart goes out to the family and the neighbours. I pray that You will come alongside denise and give her Your peace and Your comfort at this tragic time in her life. I pray for a speedy recovery for her from the heart attack too. You are the God of miracles and I pray that she will be surrounded by Your love as she recovers and comes to terms with the loss of her son in Jesus' name and for His glory amen.

I too, will pray. I pray that she finds comfort and solace in God's arms. I know she will see her child again in heaven. It will most likely, take a lot of time to heal her wounds. I pray that she finds God's loving embrace close to her in this time of need. Amen

Thank you

I want to say thank you to all for your prayers for Denise and her family. My sister had been the one who had alerted me what had happened. Denise has been a friend of my niece since childhood, and knows how devastated she is, and the emotional sorrow that she will be dealing with ahead. All of your prayers are so precious, as God certainly hears and responds when his children reach out to him.

May the Lord richly bless each one of you for the expression of the spirit of Christ's love in your responses here.
Thank you and God Bless you all,
Charyl
