Hey everyone, excited to be here. If you want to know more about me watch my video about God's incredible life transformation within me:
Welcome ! May God bless you and keep you. May He shine His face upon you & give you His peace.
One thing I wish to share edification with you is this below.
John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
You might want to lean on Him for help to stop looking for signs of the supernatural and rest in the knowledge of Him that you believe in Him & are saved since having believed in Jesus Christ.
Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith....
...26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Sometimes believers fall into the trap of continually expecting signs so they can continue to believe in Him, but then the Lord would lead such individuals in a famine of signs so they can believe in Him regardless, being content with the signs they had received in order for them to believe in Him to be saved. Like it or not, the devil may argue for a test of your faith with the Lord in having you receive no more signs as if the devil is expecting you to stop believing in Him.
Remember Job. Then reflect on Thomas. Then be thankful to the Father in Jesus's name that you do believe in His Son and are saved and then live by faith in Him as His disciple, trusting Him to be your Good Shepherd to help you lay aside every weight & sin daily in walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son, expecting no more signs to prove He is with you always when He is since salvation when you had received Him since having believed in Jesus Christ.
Go in His peace.
