I have been given an extra special day in the Lord Jesus today. Last night I was praying and (hmm can I even remember, was I reading scripture?) lol this feeble mind of mine it's a miracle I can tie my shoes! I woke up yesterday and coffee was the first thing on my mind 
…where is my Jesus?!
I don't want that coffee to be the first thing on my mind...I say NO, I don't want you! Though you can be a motivator for a short while, I want the real deal sustainer, the one who can provide all of my needs, all day, every day, and not just in the morning, hello Mister!! I want my heavenly Father and my Lord Jesus to be ringing in my ears and in my heart first! I'm down on my knees in prayer and petition!
I get to work a bit early, you know I have a doctor's appointment, leave early - return early – get to the appointment. I get on the road to the job site, Bible in hand, reading scripture. About half way there I break from it.
I meet the water operator and he shows me all the valves and fire hydrants needing replacement or fixing. I quickly conclude my business and return to home. I continue reading scripture driving slowly on the back gravel roads, but nearly driving into the ditch I put the Book down so I can make it back with the truck in one piece, lol. (In the meantime, I get a text message that the doctor has cancelled, no more tight time schedule).
I get back onto the highway, and what do you know? I get a flat tire. I safely pull off the highway, and I look at the Book! I think, this is mightily peculiar…the first time I take my Book to the jobsite, I get a flat…giving me plenty of time to read while I wait for roadside assistance. I thank the Lord for this opportunity to fully concentrate on his word. I finish reading Matthew. The tow truck arrives, I am back on the road.
On my way home I am still mesmerized at the events of the day. Praising the Lord in all of them. As the children have been reading scripture after their chores in the morning; I am always thinking of other ways to get God in their minds. I stumble on this video and its so neat! What a perfect way to come home in my giddiness in the Lord! Sharing an awesome video with the kids and telling them about my day!
