My last-born starts Kindergarten soon

My five year old son will be registering for kindergarten in a few days. This is a big change for both of us. He did not attend preschool, so this will be his official "debut" into a world full of temptation and outright evil. I ask that you join me in praying for his protection and guidance in everything he is to experience. I also ask that you think of me in your prayers. When he begins attending school, I will have a lot more spare time. I want that time to be filled by something that will glorify God. I pray that I am able to recognize God's will for the time that will be opened to new opportunities.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I understand how you feel my eldest daughter started school, and it is something good, and learning for your child.. My daughter didnt attend preschool either, but she done good, and God bless you and give you strength for her to notice and redirect the other children. I have twin boys that are going this coming year also, So we are in the same boat.. I hope and pray that they knowingly good from bad, and things you arent suppose to do or say.. Sending our children off to school was the most difficult thing I had ever done...until I had to send them into the world. (our youngest graduates in June) Its a world of peer pressure and powerful influence, so yes keep your children covered in prayer, and spend as much time with them as you can, while you are still able to be the biggest influence in thier lives.
God is able to keep that which we trustingly commit to Him!
