Hello. I am a 79 year old young woman! Since 2003 so much has happened that I don’t know where to start. I began writing articles on different sites. For 3 years I wrote 100 items. Then got a dry spell with just an occasional article. It got so hard to do even the most simplest everyday chore. I put everything off. I hated myself but I was completely helpless. I didn’t enjoy anything.
I will skip from then until March, 18, 2010. My life changed and surprisingly for the better after time in the hospital and a nursing home. Went home May 4th
On that day in March I was bleeding profusely. I live in a high rise and went to the front to tell the lady in charge. The last thing I remembered was that she told me I had to go to the hospital. MY mind went completely blank after that. I didn’t know how I got there or anything else until I came to my senses a little at the home.
I had company in both places--family and friends but don’t remember any of it. I was told that I had cancer in my colon and other parts of my stomach which was all removed. The doctor told my family that I was between life and death. My daughter Brenda prayed if God took me, I would be happy forever. If not, He still had work for me to do. I know I am to get back to the writing---partly about my experiences in both places.
Surprisingly the surgery made me a new person! I used to be rather negative and so serious. In the home I was joking all the time and made others laugh. God says that laughter is like a good medicine! And it is. When I saw my doctor again, he was so surprised. He didn’t expect to see me.
I know it was a miracle. Everyone is surprised at how good I am doing. Little weak but improving regularly. My mind is being restored too. God does have more work for me to do. It is already starting. A woman I met read an article I wrote :
“ Angels all around me”. She gave it to a local bi monthly newspaper. They are publishing it in September.
I lost almost all of my memory which really was a good thing. I feel like God emptied my inner parts out and filled it with the Holy Spirit to live there!!! I am an entirely new person.
I will post the old articles I wrote as God moves me to do so. Even if I don’t write another word.
