MY MIRACLE HEALING

In August 2013 I had what was thought at the time to be a stroke. It affected the whole of the right hand side of my face and I was admitted to the stroke unit at the hospital not able to smile, close my right eye, taste food or drink without drooling. A stroke was eventually ruled out and I was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy and told it could be twelve months before my face went back to normal.

In April a spiritual revival had started in Cwmbran in Wales, with many healings and lives touched by God. A friend, Roger, was there a couple of nights after I came out of hospital. Before he went he came to my house and prayed for me again – he had prayed for me before I went into hospital - so I decided to watch online for the first time so I could talk to him about it when he came back

Anyway as I watched the meeting from Cymbran on Live Stream Saturday night I joined in the worship and listened as the speaker spoke about the faith of the centurion. It was nothing special; not like the US TV evangelists; just low key with all the glory going to God.

At the end of the preach the pastor called people out for prayer and then just before he stepped off the platform he turned back and pointed at me – through the camera – and said that Jesus would heal my face and my eye. I gasped audibly and quite loudly and then a few minutes later began to feel a tingling sensation in the side of my face, especially round my eye. I could feel the sensation trickling down the side of my face and then the muscles began to gently contract and tighten up. When my husband, who had been out of the room for a short while, came back in he was amazed at the difference in me in just a few short minutes. My face was pink again; my smile was back and I could close my eye and drink properly and I could whistle. Asking you to whistle is one of the tests they do.

As soon as Roger saw me the night he returned from Wales his first words to me were, “You’ve been healed!” and we gave thanks to God together. When I came to church the day after, people who had seen me in hospital a couple of days earlier were amazed at the change in me. I thank and praise God for his healing power in my life.I give the glory to Jesus.

I fully understand Pearl! Many years ago when I became a true believer at the tender age of 22, I had two ulcers, the doctors had given me medicine for it,but it did not help that much,I was born into a family of Lutherans,healing was not part of there plan,they tended to be very quiet about there belief,and wanted the rest of us to be that way to. LOL When the Lord ( and this is a long story but will not go further into it) met me in a mop closet in College,and I became Born Again,the Pastor suggested I come along with them to a meeting very similar to yours.

Brother Hagin( now with the Lord) suddenly for no reason said,if you need prayer for something please come up to the front,my Pastor said go ahead!!! What can he do I thought?? As I was in line people started to fall down,I said is there a doctor in the house the nice lady in front of me just feel down,people started laughing at me! They said have no fear that is just the power of God falling on her.WHAT??? I was right next to her,nothing hit me I said!! LOL Anyway a long story short, I was watching on stage what was happening, he touched them they fell down,just like I saw on Oral Roberts,so I figured when he touched me I would fall on purpose,then get up and go back to my seat.

As he was getting to me in line,he spoke in English to all before me,but when he got to me he spoke in an unknow language,I fell on purpose knowing the guy behind me would catch me. He did, I layed there thinking, humm how long should I remain down here? As Brother Hagin moved to the next person, he said " WAIT!!!! He did not recieve Holy Spirit on him.

With eyes closed I said how does he know that?? Then he said there he is!! BAM!!!! I could not move!! It was like I was nailed to the floor! After what I thought was a few minutes the power released me,and I got up and went back to my seat,I told my Pastor what happened and said I was down I guess for a few minutes,he laughted out loud! He said you were down there for about 45 min!!! I was healed and changed forever that day!! So thanks Pearl for reminding me how important it is to always remain thankful!!( 1 Thess 5:18)

I first felt the slackness in my face on the Saturday night when I dribbled whilst trying to drink. I didn't tell anybody and went to church next morning. It was my turn to work the projector so I was on the raised desk at the back of the room so nobody noticed my face. As I sat there following the service I looked round and asked God who I should ask to pray for me. He told me to ask Roger a new Christian and a member of my house group. He ran his fingers lightly up and down the left hand side of my face which was the side affected, and commanded the nerves to heal. When I received the healing it just felt like fingers lightly running up and down my face. I don't understand healing really though but am blessed to have had a number of miraculous experiences of being healed. And that is because I am plagued with a long term cough that no amount of pray of the years has done anything to lessen it.

Wow. I have heard some wonderful testimonies. I think it is good to share these stories as it encourages people and builds up our faith.
