My nursing home just got first staff member with COVID-19!!

Please say some prayers for Northwood nursing home in Halifax, NS, Canada, where I work we just got our first staff member with COVID-19.
There are 3 buildings with close to 500 residents. We are the biggest nursing home in Atlantic Canada and a serious outbreak could be absolutely terrible for our seniors.

Praying. I guess there'll be isolation measures in place within the home? But take every opportunity to offer the hope and peace that is found only in Jesus.

The virus is shaking the world, we should not be surprised brother, trust in the Lord, pray always, we are praying with you.

Allow the Lord to use you to witness to the lost souls, let the Spirit guide you my friend.

That is a very large complex, a lot of souls in there, I am sure the building will be compartmentised to stop fire spreading, I am sure these measures will help contain the virus but many other measures will also be put in place.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, Trust in the Lord brother. Keep us informed so we can pray as required.

Thanks and yes they are taking precautions all the workers had masks on today and they've cleared a floor for potential Convid19 patients.
More residents got sick today. We are short on staff as well, which leads to burnout.
