My adult son doesn't want a relationship with me anymore. I've prayed, I've apologized, I've done all I could do to mend our relationship. Still he continues to ignore me and not respond to my calls or texts. I miss him so much and he's married now with a baby that I've never met. My heart is heavy.

Let go and let God deal with it then.

Forgive him for not sharing his baby with you yet.

Continue to pray and quit trying so hard to mend your relationship.

Let His peace reign over your behavior, that whether it be soon on earth or later in Heaven, you will have a joyful relationship with your son.

Just trust in Him as Lord and whatever opportunities He gives you with him, be content but be thankful that you can at least send texts to him.

At least he knows you want a relationship with him still.

Just let him know you are available if he needs to talk with someone and trust in the Lord for the rest of it.

I thank the Lord Jesus Christ also for helping you to take a step back and evaluate the situation to see what is in your control to do and what is not, so as to give it to God.

And I find in regards to myself, that I even need Him to help me keep giving it to Him because I forget and fret over things beyond my control again. I am trusting Him as my Good Shepherd & Friend to do this for me. So should you.

This is very sad. I advise draw back, stop all pressure on him and in time he may come to you again.
