Please pray for me. I am feeling kind of distanced from the Lord and my spirit is feeling anguish. I am used to feeling the Holy Spirit within me and I have felt the love of Jesus Christ, leading me to find Christian friends. And I feel like my Father in Heaven is a zillion miles away from me.
I am partially disabled and at times it makes me a "shut in", so that I don't get out much at all.
I like Talk Jesus very much and I love to speak of the Lord. To speak of the Lord though, I need the "Helper", the Holy Spirit to speak with me.
Please pray that my spirit heals and that I am able to "boast in the Lord" and praise God for all that He is.
I don't want to sound negative when speaking of God. I would rather my soul be singing.
Please pray that I feel the Holy Spirit dwell in my and that my Saviour gladdens my heart.
I love You Father and I love Your Son, Lord Jesus Christ. Please don't turn away from me now. I need You Father, though You already know this. I miss You Father, Your love endures forever.
Thank you to anyone who prays for my soul. Amen:Pixie:sun:

Dear pixie,

You gave great advice from your heart, just recently, to a young lady who was feeling like God doesn't love her. And pixie...don't forget, God not only loves spreadtheword, but He also desperately loves you.

I forget God loves me, too.

He's not mad at you, no matter how you feel. Just reach for your bible, and read. Close your eyes and pray. Be still and know that He is God. If there is something coming between you and Him, He will show you.

He says He'll never leave us or forsake us.

Your friend,
Dreamer

I feel this way too sister. I think all believers feel this way without question. This is normal for two obvious reasons:

- our spiritual growth, maturity (where we stand, our sinning, devotion, etc)
- GOD testing our faith

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

I'll pray for you sister. Be at peace. Pray to GOD, speak to Him and be at peace.

I am praying for you pixie after our chat yesterday too. You shared with me and i appreciate that. I do not think about feeling God or the Holy Spirit as i used to rely on my feelings too much. I know He is with me always. I just trust Him instead.

You are such a blessing and have such a sweet spirit and have encouraged me with private messages.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. prov.3.5-6

We are alll good at giving out advice to others but find it hard to actually do it ourselves. I know this is so true.

I pray for your heart to be healed from the hurts you have suffered. Jesus is the great healer and physician.

Father I pray that you would bring your healing touch upon my dear sister pixie and restore to her the joy of her salvation. If she needs to forgive others show her and help her to do this and free her from any bondage. Let her feel your Holy Spirit presence upon her again.

You say when we draw near to You then You draw near to us. Heal her hurting spirit I pray in Jesus name and for His glory amen.

I love you dear sister and you are so loved by God. God is love.

Lord Jesus, restore towards this precious one of Yours a revealing testimony of Your Holy Spirit like none other in their time, amen. Restore, oh Lord, the Joy of their salvation in You, and cause them to call upon You only, and wait until You come upon them once again...washing away the pain and anguish of feeling separated from Your Holy Spirit, even though You be not far from us, being within us, active and alive, amen.
Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly " Amen Come, Lord Jesus.
Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Amen and Amen.

Love, you have my prayers!

My sister pixie, my prayers are with you. God knows what you are feeling and He knows what is in your heart. I agree with Chad, it is normal for us to feel spiritually anemic at times. I certainly have. I have learned that it is imperative to stay in the Word and stay in prayer. Satan loves to see us feeling as though God has forsaken us. Of course, we know that the Lord is with us always, even when we feel unworthy. Our God is awesome!

Praying for you Sister. What you're going through is very common. You are not alone. No matter what our feelings may tell us at times, God is always near. Rest assured He's keeping His promise of never leaving us, never forsaking us. Praying for a renewed sense of the Holy Spirit. Praying for the Lord to keep your heart's focus.

Hey pixie,

GOD knows all and sees all. Just go to HIM and tell HIM honestly how you feel. Sometimes we all go through dry places and GOD knows why. As Chad said, sometimes it's to test our faith. It may be for other reasons. But you hold on to GOD's Word where He says HE will never leave or forsake you. meditate on Psalm 91. GOD loves you and will never abandon you.

Thank You Jesus

Thanks Jesus, for the wonderful advice I have been given. I praise You Jesus and adore and worship You. I praise You Father and I give so much love and praise to the Holy Spirit. Please open the doors for me again, so that I may sing of love for You Jesus.
Thank you for your prayers everyone. I am happy as I am writing this. I rejoice in Lord Jesus Christ.
A special prayer of thanks, for all the people here that reach out, with the love of God within.
Please Lord, do not bring trials on us and if You do, help us through them so that we may be closer to You.
Amen:Pixie:lightning :sun: :rainbow:

# Romans 8:38 (Whole Chapter)
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [ Greek nor rulers.] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

# 1 Peter 5:7 (Whole Chapter)
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

pixie there are reasons why God says we will go through trials and tribulations. I found this online for you.

Question: "Why does God allow us to go through trials and tribulations?"

Answer: It is comforting to know that with God, all trials and tribulations have a divine purpose. We are never alone. He told His disciples that they would be scattered, leaving Him alone, and yet "I am not alone, because the Father is with me. "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world." (John 16:32, 33)

"...I will never leave you, nor forsake you; therefore I can boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do to me" (Hebrews 13:5b,6). Trials develop godly character. "...we exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us...

Jesus Christ set the perfect example. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:3-5) These verses point out aspects of His divine purpose for both Jesus Christ's trials and tribulations, and ours. Persevering proves our faith. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

"In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which perishes, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." The true believer should accept trials and tribulations because "You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for Gods own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Peter 1:6, 7, 2:9). "If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you....."if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but in that name let him glorify God" (1 Peter 4:14, 16).

At the same time, we must be careful never to make excuses for our "trials and tribulations" if they are a result of our own wrong doing. "By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler" (1 Peter 4:15).

Trials and tribulations come with both a purpose and a reward. "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).

We have the victory. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ." I hope that these verses will encourage you to see that although we are in a spiritual battle, Satan has no authority over the believer in Christ, unless he/she chooses to yield to him. God has given us His Word to guide us, His Holy Spirit to enable us, and the privilege of coming to Him anywhere, at any time, to pray about anything! Go for it!

Love to you ladylovesJesus

Thanks for your reply. I knew a few of the passages already, but love to hear it in simple terms. God must be doing a lot in me, I have suffered most of my life. But I do give my suffering to the Lord. I have been talking to God all my life. I knew I was talking to God, for the past twenty years.
I don't give up hope, He has given me too much love for that to happen.
Thanks for the wise counsel and for caring.
Amen:Pixie:sun:

So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. 8 Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes.

Psalm 22:24 (Whole Chapter)
For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.

2 Thessalonians 1:5 (Whole Chapter)
All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

Isaiah 49:6 (Whole Chapter)
he says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."

Acts 13:26 (Whole Chapter)
"Brothers, children of Abraham, and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

May the Lord bless us and keep us from harm. Amen:Pixie:love: :sun: :rainbow
