i don't want to sound righteous and judgmental. i just want to share this thing because, i too once like this.
Everyone loves to experience life to its fullest, life of achievements and fame. everyone will do anything to fill up the longings and dreams in their hearts. But, what if all those struggling years you will discover that you are being lead to nowhere!?!
As much as it hurts to know the reality is to know that all those years of pious devotion, you will discover that you give everything to life just to be frustrated and in great despair? and you are living for nothing...
you hear the sermon of the so called "messenger of god" and follow everything he said because you think he knows god more than you do and that this people has great relationship with Him. okay, NO BIG DEAL... you follow every detail of his teachings without any solid evidence and exact resources. you follow because these people assured you that all those things are written in his red book(in his case red) but what if he gives you this man stone for you to worship. or introduce you to this saints and asked you to worship them? my friend i tell you you are in the shaky ground.
every now and then, skilled craft man mold some materials and fashioned it for money. they make it as the image of those martyrs for you to worship. Very ridiculous but its reality. people worship these wood and stone made by man. so painful to see these people being lead to nowhere. to think that these stones comes in different sizes... they cant talk or walk... no breath and no ears to hear your prayers. foolish to think devotees even carry these gods to their shoulders... lets not grieve the Holy spirit.
