Ok, well, this testimony ACTUALLY has TWO parts....so bear with me, you guys. :shade: Ok, well.. it all started when I was pregnant with my first child, whose name is Elijah. It was... about.. 2:00 in the morning, and my water broke. So then, my husband rushed me to the hospital (It was our first baby, so we didn't know it would take HOURS for the baby to come). So, I was in labor for... 36 hours. Then the doctor came in and told me they had to operate. I was also told that my blood pressure was through the roof, and the reason they had to operate right away was because my baby was in distress. So, then... I went to the operating room, I was so down and depressed, I didn't even worry about not hearing the baby's cries. From what my husband and my mother in law told me, my son Elijah was a stillborn. The nurses and the surgeon ran out the room to go look for the doctor, and then they brought the doctor in to resuscitate my baby.... My baby was already dead, however, my husband told me that he heard a voice telling him not to worry, because everything will be alright. 2 minutes later, we heard our baby crying, and that is when we KNEW everything was alright.
Now for the second part of my testimony. Well, with my second pregnancy with my son, John, they diagnosed me with placenta previa, and cholestasis of pregnancy (Cholestasis is when the liver cannot properly rid itself of the bile, so it goes into your bloodstream). Well, as soon as I came home from the doctor that day, I prayed, and prayed.... and I anointed my belly for about... 2 or 3 weeks until my next sonogram appointment. And I asked God to make the condition go away before my next sonogram appointment. I was trusting in him and not worrying about my condition, and my husband was there like... admiring my intense faith in the Lord...(The Lord is MORE THAN EVERYTHING TO ME), so then I went for my next sonogram appointment, no Placenta Previa (Oh yeah, placenta previa is when the placenta (The thing that connects the baby to the mother) is either over the place where the baby is supposed to come out, or it is low and you have to get surgery instead of having a natural birth, and when I went back to the doctor, they tested the bowel acids in my blood by giving me a blood test, and they came back and told me that the cholestasis were gone, too. Now, I was far along in my pregnancy, in another month or two I would be giving birth. The doctor came to me after reading the sonogram results and asked me, "Are you sure you had placenta previa?" And I replied, "That's what it said in the chart"... and he kept asking me, because he couldn't UNDERSTAND HOW I had the placenta previa, and then not have it when I came back to the doctor. I thanked Jesus right there in the office. Then when I got home, I praised him some more.
God is SO awesome. I also had another testimony for this pregnancy, as well. You see, a couple weeks back, well... about a month back, the doctor's office called me up after I took a glucose test, and told me that I have diabetes, and for me to come in for a three hour glucose test. So, after I hung up the phone, I started to worry... But then, I saw a big hand coming down from heaven, and the hand touched my head, and I heard a voice said, "You shall be healed this day, in MY name".... and then I started thanking him right away.... then.. about two to three weeks later, I went to the doctor, took the three hour glucose test, they stuck me with the needle three times, and when I got home, I told God, now you touched me that day after receiving the bad news, so I know I don't have it anymore. Even when I would go to make some Lemonade, or some iced tea instead of drinking juice with my lunches sometimes, (Not all the time, very rarely do I drink that sugary stuff, because I know FRUIT juice is better for the baby, but there's nothing wrong with drinking it when ur pregnant from time to time)and then the devil tried to remind me that the doctor told me my sugar was high, and I told the devil NO! God told me I have healed! So then, the day I went back for the test results, the doctor told me my sugar levels went back down! :shade: :shade: And once again, I said "Thank You Jesus", right there.
